It did not appear that the Chargers took very long to make their pick either....... so they must have been sure.... and not considering trade downs or defensive players or OT......?

With most people thinking Hebert would fall to Chargers if not lower....why were chargers talking trade with lions? and so were dolphins.... and lions would have got Okudah at 5 or 6?......

Well, the Bolts DID scout Herbert and I assume interviewed him at the combine, plus the virtual interviews they did...so they must have been really sold on the dude...QB is the most important position, and Tyrod does give us a bridge year to get Herbie ready...the move does make sense...just that I would have really liked seeing Simmons on our D giving Mahomes fits...oh well, in TT we trust...(I think)...

What Tennessee qb's were HOF before Payton? When was the last great LSU QB? Come on man have a clue!

I know what im talking about...... part of the problem is that oregon system..... it makes bad/so-so QB's look way way better then they actually are ..........

and the biggest reason is all the detailed analysis by scouts and QB experts on the major flaws in herberts game....... in 4 years of coaching and playing he never elevated his game to be a great passer...... and he did not play in SEC where they have great defenses..... hebert had a great team and won many games inspite of him not playing well...... look at his film... not highlight film but complete games or film breakdowns....... if you review those it will be obvious that hebert lacks touch, lacks anticipation, he does not throw his receivers open...... he is a one read QB who mostly dumped off screens......and needed direct LOS to complete passes.....

Hebert is like playing madden and only throwing bullet passes..... has to learn to have touch and lob balls over defenders in pros or zone defenses will kill him.......
