Kinda what I was thinking. Oliver has more talent from what I've seen of both players, but Hillman seems to have a longer term role.
Weird though I always thought if Ball went down it would be C.J. Anderson, not Hillman, who would get a shot. Hillman has had his shots before and failed and he makes routine stops in the dog house.
I agree with everyone that Oliver is not a long term option, though he is by far the better short term option. That said, though, I don't think Hillman is all that good a long term option either. Better than Oliver long term, because as OIP pointed out he will be at the top of the rotation, but I'm sure there are better options out there.
I hate picking guys from the AFCW. I won't do it; because it drives me nuts to secretly cheer for the Donks or Raiders in any way. I did pick up Oliver this week though.. I've been in desperate need of a bandaid until Knowshon Moreno is healthy again (Which I hoped would be Week 6ish.. but I'm hearing may be more like Week 9.. )

With the way Miller is playing Moreno will see a reduce role IMO

Yeah.. that is a concern now that wasn't there with Moreno before he was hurt.. but Moreno is still going to be better than pretty much any FA I can pick up, or whatever bandaid I've been using. CJ Spiller was supposed to be my backup, but he's pretty much been a no show this season.
One plug for Oliver is that he will likely have the prominent "Woodhead/Sproles" role going forward, regardless of whether D.Brown or Mathews comes back. I personally think that he will continue to be a workhorse for us.
I go with Oliver. In both cases arent' we looking at most likely a three week window til Mathews/Ball come back? Oliver will share with Brown and Hillman will share with Anderson so it is pretty close.
