They are not starters, not for the Chargers or are backups or ST players.

Not saying its a bad thing to have good ST players...

My point exactly it happend a long time ago; thats why I asked who's the last starter drafted on the 4th or 6th.
    Clary was drafted in 2006.
    Phillips was drafted in 2004.

What ever; as I mentioned before no reason to argue about this Barron was traded to the Rams.

Im with ya rikardo, I dont understand why more teams don't deal away late round picks
for guys YOU KNOW can play.
When you look at the success rate of picks in rounds 5,6,7....it really makes you wonder why
      there valued so much.

7th overall for a safety was stupid in the 1st place.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

The way TEs are being use in todays game you need a a great FS and a really solid SS.
If you redo the 2007 draft I bet you Eric Weedle is a top 10 pick.
Weedle has been our best D player since Big Jamal retire (at least IMO).

My point is a great Safety can be valued top 10 pick, TB tought Barron was one (elite Safety) and they where wrong, I think he is a solid SS and IMO well worth a 4th and a 6th...

A 4th and a 6th is a solid value. I'd look hard at that too if I was TT. But not the 7th overall.

Agreed, but could a guy like Gilchrist move back to corner?

there are plenty of contributors and even eventual stars that could, keyword COULD, come from the 4-6th rounds. Michael Turner, Sproles, Scifres etc. sure, there hasn't been that many very good/great ones recently, or Telesco for all the praise he's getting hasn't unearthed any gems yet in those rounds.

as far as your question goes (you didn't ask if they were good starters), Stephen Schilling started for 2 games with the bolts back in 2011, Porkchops is currently a starter. Cam Thomas and Vaughn martin were part of the regular rotation from 2010-2012, Tyrone Greene started 28 games between 2010-2012. from Telesco's time with the colts, (a lot of scrubs on the list) eventual starters: Piere Garcon/Jacob Tamme 2008, Austin Collie 2009, Vick Ballard (5th rd, started over Donald Brown in 2012), and guys who are now on are team, Ricardo Mathews and Kavell Connor (both 2010 7th rdrs)

He was not bad at CB, but he's more of a slot guy. I believe the position he currently plays is more of a CB/SS hybrid where they have him over the slot receiver or blitzing, as opposed to a true SS or CB. In Gilchrist's case, labels are deceiving.

Weddle, Barron, Flowers, Wright & Verrett. Would have being sweet for us.
Assuming we could keep them all on the field at the same time.

Instead, it's just Weddle. Proof that tough guys have beards.

Yeah, we can just credibly believe that we traded for Barron and then put him on IR when he got hurt falling out of bed.
