I'm almost certain that I will be the ONLY one on this board who predicts that Sunday will produce our Annual Oakland Egg of a game:

We're getting too much good press; Rivers is getting too much praise; too many 'experts' have us the #1 in the Power Rankings. Gotta always remember that we are the CHARGERS, football's version of the Chicago Cubs. This game will bring us back to reality.

I mentioned this before, but I used to try to accurately predict the games. I found that every time I predicted us to win, we would lose - so.....

I honestly think our Defense is going to really control this game. I just dont see them as having a good answer to our CBs playing coverage....we have done a nice job on some good receivers this year. I dont see Oakland as having a good enough D to slow us down enough. Play our game and we should prevail.

I forgot to say about our defense:

We're going to give up 10.3 YPC. On the first possession, the Raiders will run 3 times, for 2, 4, and 3 yards. On the second possession they'll run twice, for 1 and -1 yards. And on the third possession they'll have 1 attempt for no yards. After that they won't have any more rushing attempts because they've got to play come-from-behind big time, but Carr will slip away from a sure Freeney sack and scramble for 63 yards, after which will come three incomplete passes and a successful FG. After the game, Yubaking will wonder out loud why the Raiders coaches didn't try to establish the run early on despite averaging 10.3 YPC.
