since both Chargers QB's are new potential starters(for Chargers), both Taylor and Hebert will need alot of pre season snaps to get ready for regular season...... since they both need to be ready to start......

I dont think they can treat TT like they did Rivers and not play him in pre season....... though TT is the limited QB that he is(and they know pretty much what they will get from him...he has a 1 TD per game average in the many games he has started), and the less TT plays, the more valuable snaps Herbert will get.....

I only see 4 relatively "easy" games this season: CIN, CAR, JAX, and JETS(the weakest teams on our schedule)..... all the others should be tough.....

If the season is shortened by cancelling the first 4 games, that might save the Chargers 2 (or more) losses.....

If the OL plays much better than last year, I can see Hebert starting much sooner than later, unless somehow he just looks clueless in pre season, which I doubt cause he is a smart kid who works hard.....

Only way I would not play Hebert over TT is if the OL is the horrible mess that it was last year..... no use exposing and battering a rookie like that.....

What happens if California and New York don't allow NFL games to be played, while other states with NFL teams do?

What happens if NFL games are played, and a player tests positive? Does that player get quarantined and the games go on, or do they shut down the league? What if a star player like Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes or Joey Bosa tests positive and has to go into quarantine, does the team that loses a star player just continue to play? What if multiple star players test positive on a team? Let's say Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Bosa and Derwin James all test positive. Would the Chargers still be expected to play, like those players are injured? What if a player gets infected and spreads to half the team before it is caught? How does that team even put a team on the field?

That part sucks..... the NFL always gives night games to new stadiums..... but its obvious NFL does not care much or expect much from Chargers......

Ramz have 3 home games on Sun or Mon night.

              Raidurs have 4 home games.

Bolts have O home games on Sunday night or MNF. (They visit NO Oct 12th Monday and visit OAK on Dec 17th Thursday)

Says a lot about what the NFL thinks of the Chargers being in primetime or showing off their new rental...

Hope that happens too...... win or lose, it will be much more enjoyable to watch a rookie hopefully getting better over time over an old vet who was NRVER a great QB, and only has averaged 1 TD per game in games he started.....

I think it has more to do with our record last year.

Perhaps, but how does that explain the Turds having 4 home games in prime time? Weren't their W/L records about the same as the Bolts? Okeland was 7-9 last year...

The record last season didn't warrant many prime time appearances. Even if they allow fans at the games, perhaps NBC, the league and the Chargers are anticipating low attendance, and don't want the embarrassment on prime time TV.

                        They will play without fans.

Players, staff, officiating crews, broadcasters, etc will be tested twice weekly would be my guess. The NFL is beyond wealthy and will find no roadblock to acquire testing and getting fast track results.
                        He will quarantine.
                        Yes. Different than injury?
Again yes. Your example is fine. Bolts would have to play if they were injured.
Unlikely with the above testing requirements, charter travel, etc.

Bolts were 5-11 and Raiders 7-9. Maybe they got burned on poor ratings for Bolt games last year. Raiders seem to have a lot of fans all over, especially in L.A. and the Bay Area. Here in the Central Valley the Raiders are huge. Add Vegas to the mix and it's a ratings bonanza for some marketing people...money...it's always about the money...
