Well who knew Bill O’Brien would be so stupid.

      Trenchers take note.

You are Captain Ahab chasing after Moby Dick.

AVT is an OG at next level. Right it down. I don’t see Darrisaw playing down to anyone at next level. He has all the tools to be an NFL OT. The only question I have is wherher there is a better option at 13. I think Farley is value at 13 because of his upside, I think Darrisaw is less risk.

Farley is gonna slide. Teams will be scared off by the back. I think he makes it past 20.

Also, with AVT and Slater, if you take them, try them at LT. If they work, you’ve got a win. If they don’t, get a new LT and slide them inside.

If he’s still there at 18 someone will move up. His back isn’t a new thing. I think most GM’s will rely on medical info they’ve already had and it was already baked into the cake. The microdiscectomy was poor timing but he will be available for camps. It is a risk though

I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I’ll go to it laughing.

                Dare I saw it coming..?

I think teams will be scared off. That said, he has the highest upside of any CB in this draft. If he can stay healthy, he’ll be a stud. I would still be happy to see us take him at #13.

If a trade down haul is not in Chargers plans and have their LT on the board #13 by all means take him. However could be a tackle nobody is talking about? Darrisaw is best in run blocking but not so much in pass pro and we all have opinions about effort/motor. Slater is a Swiss Army knife, think Chargers have addressed most of those concerns and will target a true franchise tackle. Telvin Jenkins, OSU 6-6 320 pro day April 1st.

                      ironic it’s April Fools Day

Darrisaw has some good stats in pass protection, but VaTech also does not run a conventional passing offense, so there is some projection involved. But the analysts advocating for him point out a couple things: he got better every year and he has the athleticism to be an elite LT.

True franchise LTs that can also play RT maintain their value
ie they are tradable for small fortunes ala Tunsil
I wouldn’t hesitate drafting both Darriaw and Cosmi back to back
One can either supplant Bulaga or be depth until we trade them for Houston
                          Chargers vs. Everyone
