Yes he does but like me, if the guy is sitting there in the Sim, draft him. And I know Za em Collins won't last to round four but he is there.

it's just a negative with the simulators but it's like any draft site that has players very different than others. Best to self eval and see how right we are lol.

We still have to study the players re fit, need and strategy.

To me (and I bet ninja too) that's the funnest part...the visual critique.

It is so cool to have more and more scout's eyes on the prospects and to have passionate interest here.

January to May will be very determinate about our 2021 season, no kidding lol.

It's always about matcups and personnel...sometimes exclusively.

Fleet knows damn good and well that Eric Stokes won't last until round 4.

This is not quality football discussion...but it could be.

Just agree to disagree, go into further football detail, and get settled in here as a new, great contributor !

    No confusion at all.
Fleet is cool. He may get ruffled at times but its ok. He once told me that i never agree with the players he likes and he was probably i bit miffed lol. Which isnt true.

Sometimes i dont say something with players i like along with others and will say things when i dont so it appears that way but i loved Gordon as well as he did, for example....and for me OVER Gurley. I think he liked Gurley more (not sure) but he was pumping Gordon as well and while Gurley is about done, Gordon still playing well though he fell 7 yards short to again miss 1,000 yards.

And if im not up on a player he mentions, or Ninja, or you....it makes me go look further. I did that last night on a mentioned player. So i like the difference of opinions.

Stokes wont last to the 4th round but Fleet is right, they rank em, we pick em which is why my last mocks with the Sim said "However unlikely".

Besides, I’m not the only one who thinks Hayward lacks the skills to play effective man coverage, especially at this point in his career. The nagging injuries aren’t going to magically disappear, either. They’re going to get worse. Hayward will be 32 next season. Expecting him to excel in man is a tall order for a guy who’s never been that fast and is just getting slower with age. Especially with the speedy young receivers in the AFC west.
Relax man, its a FAN forum. Nobody here is close to a draft expert regardless of what we think and how many guys WE say we were right about or wrong about. Its all conjecture and nobody is getting paid here lol.
We are all just fans of football and this team and just want to win.......for a fucking change.

In the grand scheme, i dont give a shit where they put Murray for example. If they think he is best at ILB or WOLB, i dont care if thats where they think he will do best for us. But ill state my opinion about it....right or wrong.

Hayward will be evaluated by Staley and staff to see if he fits.

TT is not about to cut Hayward, if we are being realistic here.
Safe to say Facyson wont be back. He isnt good in man or zone loll. I dont know, tough calls to be made and im more on the side thinking they will keep Davis over an aging Hayward but we'll see. But with all new coaches and the new staff with a new scheme, its tough to say who they would like to stay.

Maybe Staley already has some guys in mind and his new DB coach has some guys in mind and both Hayward and Davis wont be back. That would surprise me though.

Which shut down corner are you planning on being available at #13 ?
Will he even be nearly as good as Ramsey, the best in the business, who could not shut down Davante Adams in NFCDG ?

Hayward and Harris are under contract. They are similar to Darius Williams and Troy Hill.

Michael Davis will be a sought after UFA.

I say build the Front Seven.
The big board will point in this direction BTW.

Here's another fact. Casey Hayward had a huge opening game in terms of number of tackles. gusD wanted physical defenders. He wasn't the same the rest of the year.

We appear to disagree in the general nature of NFL football in 2021, in perception of the Staley defensive philosophy vis-a-vis gusD, and in assessment of our DB population.

I think this is where I say sorry about the confusion.

I start work at midnight. Today I have consumed two Sugar Free Monster energy drinks. Hope that Monster model sticks with Herb.

It is draft season...time to ramp up the draft takes. No getting butt hurt. You already called the owner of this place stupid the other day !

Besides, I’m not the only one who thinks Hayward lacks the skills to play effective man coverage, especially at this point in his career. The nagging injuries aren’t going to magically disappear, either. They’re going to get worse. Speculative. Hayward will be 32 next season. Expecting him to excel in man is a tall order for a guy who’s never been that fast and is just getting slower with age. Especially with the speedy young receivers in the AFC west. Better help with Double High Safeties who are anticipated to play faster. Team defense is key in the Staley plan.
