The scouts seem to think Daxton Hill is a better nickel than safety, a hybrid type.


Since CHJr will be gone, Hill might be a smart option..if we don’t address the position in FA (Darious Williams).

The hybrid type would be a better fit for Staley’s defense and also free up Derwin to roam.

Two days ago, Dane Brugler suggested Dax Hill to DAL in round one.

All I can tell you is where I see him go in mocks. Both TDN and PFN have him going 6th or later. PFF always has him 3rd and rarely fourth. FWIW........

I’ve had my eye on this cat for a while. Great athletic specimen, raw though. Reminds me a little of Josh Imatorbhebhe and Simi Fehoko last year. Would have benefited from another year to mold his craft. We’ll see if a team feels like developing him.
