Olavr and Wilson, but even i would prefer another position if Jameson weren't available.
I'm not touting the position, I'm touting the player
He's special, and many can see it.

All schemes require good OTs also

My point was more existential in that some folks around here talk as if Staley has a one of a kind magical unicorn scheme that needs good DL and good DB. I defy them to name a team with bad DL and horrible DBs that doesn’t have a shit overall defense. I’ll wait here.

Its akin to the notion that theory around these parts that the 2 linebackers on the field don’t matter because of Staley’s magical scheme. Just any shit LB is fine, because he doesn’t matter. Pull that to the logical conclusion and he can just set two orange cones out there and execute his game plan with 9 players. Nonsense. Every player on the field matters. Great LBs make a difference, great LBs stack up 150+ tackles in a season now and anyone that thinks 20%+ of all tackles made don’t matter is a damn fool.

note: two cones are all I need because I’m in nickel. I hear he loves the big nickel around these parts so i figured I’m optimize my LB Cones for his magical scheme

        I'm asking for DJ Fluker.
What would DJ Fluker know about being a tackle...?
Would he even know what you're talking about...?

Not if you only want to throw 5 and 10-yard passes.
I hear Herbert has a good arm...

Schemes that throw a lot of 5 yard passes are going to need an OT who can rush block

So why don't we ensure that we have 5 OL that can rush block and pass block...?
We could throw 5 yards or 55 yards.
If you were a DC, which offense would you rather plan for...?

I hear the swampland in NJ is going at an exceptionally low price right now.

                        wuMock notes...

I was torn between Booth and Karlaftis. Booth has the quickest of feet, combined with route reading. He can actually cover these dudes as an outside corner. Also Booth can cover Slot receivers, both Size and Twitch types and TEs too. This is rare, valuable talent.

It is noted that Jeremiah's final mock, just unleashed this evening, has Kair Elam CB going to us at #17. Booth is now not top 32 in Daniel's eyes. I value the inside outside flexibility, with Asante additionally, for our scheme.

Booth is not a prospect without flaws. He can be wild as a March Hare...but also just as fast. That is apt, because the comp is Janoris "Jackrabbit" Jenkins.
