Another guy that’s worth keeping an eye on. Size, athleticism and production get your attention. From the Brugler draft.

    25. Dallas Cowboys — Cameron Thomas, edge, San Diego State*

The Cowboys drafted three front-seven defenders in the top 100 last season and might be in the market for more pass rush in next year’s first round. Whether lined up inside or outside, Thomas has been nearly unblockable this season for the Aztecs, currently leading college football with 72 pressures (just ahead of Michigan’s Hutchinson and Alabama’s Will Anderson). His lateral quickness, nose for the football and non-stop hustle are traits that will translate to the NFL.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

Love this dude, freaky good. Not sure if he’s worth the 25th pick, combine will determine. But he’s a R2 target for sure. I think he’s like Karlaftis—a little more raw as a pass rusher, but maybe a touch better as a run defender, which is what we need.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

Re Dean, runs between the tackles need to be contained. However, we get especially damaged by QB outside scrambles, OZ runs and screens. This happens time and time again, right when we could be getting our defense off the field. To say nothing of the other areas Dean is very helpful in.

C'mon man. if you've been watching our games, you know this is true.

We need a full 53 man roster.

If there are 4th round EDGE/DB players, then look at all position groups early.

I would gladly to take Olave, being that MW, Palmer are foreign to the concept of separation.

PFF has Cam Thomas ranked at #43, which I think is fair.

            43. EDGE CAMERON THOMAS, SAN DIEGO STATE

Thomas is a massive power end at 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds. He racked up an FBS-leading 72 pressures this season and finished sixth with 29 run stops.

I was surprised too when he was mocked so early. I would have liked to get him in the 2nd. Another guy whose postseason workouts will be important.

He is a stud. My fear is that both Davis and Dean continue to rise due to the high caliber of games they are slated to play. A strong showing versus Alabama and then the playoffs could make each a top 10 and out of reach.

Nobody in their right mind would pass on Davis.

I’ll take flack for this but…

                      Devin Lloyd > Nakobe Dean

Tell me I’m wrong when 2022 is over.

                        LOL.
                        Devin Lloyd = Kenneth Murray.

If Kenneth Murray played for UGA right now,
he would start over Nakobe Dean.
