I don’t have a plan at WR, just predictions. I think MW is gone if we don’t make the post season. His best chance of getting re-signed is to play clutch in big games. As much as I like Davonte Adam’s, I don’t see it. Losing MW would indicate drafting a WR in the first 3 rounds.
Who knows where we will pick with the up and downs but I'd assume 20 to 24.
Tough to make any predictions till FA hits as we should be pretty active but I think we try to keep MW but we have a 50/50 shot at being right lol.
Agree if we dont keep him, WR will be a priority in the draft. Can't see them thinking Palmer will be the #2 and even then we need another good one. Guyton could be gone as well.

I hope the Chargers have a plan @WR. They can't beat good defenses. MW is inconsistent... so is almost every WR taken in the 1st-3rd round in the 2021 draft (outside of the first 3 WR picks). I hope we're not counting on falling prospects or inconsistent players. The SB window closes fast after the rookie QB contract is over.
Cut Bulaga... and you have $80 million of cap space. I would be surprised if the Chargers signed Davante Adams, also (given the track record of Coupon Tom). But it would be a decision based on timidity... not finances. I've previously shown how they can re-sign important players, re-build the defensive line through FA, sign DA for market value... and still be $27 million under the cap.

That’s why I’m waiting to see his performance in the playoffs (should there be playoffs) before I make a judgment. Consistent players get you to the post-season, but clutch players win games in January.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

As to QB, 100% correct. 20 years of focused RB-U taught any decent QB recruit to go elsewhere. Hoke need to change that. They won’t ever be PAC-12 as USC and UCLA have blocked them for 40 yrs and that will never change. But they have gone something like 8-2 (or close) in their last 10 games vs PAC-12 teams. Including beating the Pac12 champ this year. But yeah, they are a mid-major and thats just how it is“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”
