We were in a good spot before the draft, and now we are in a better spot. Line em up and see what happens on this offensive line. If Salyer can become a starter as a guard then maybe Fieler to RT can happen.

The biggest improvement has to have been all the defense we added. If we can get off the field on third down more often than last year, good things will happen.

Salyer is not a good run blocker. I'd hate to screw up the run game now that we finally have it balanced.

He could improve, but he'd have to actually improve.

Not too worried about that, he has enough mobility and power so it's just a matter to coaching up his technique
Future starter somewhere on the Oline

I think Pipkins hanging around Slater has juiced him quite a bit. This coaching staff is not stupid but they can only fix so much in one year and they fixed a lot.. Given the players we have on our roster now my only concern ever going forward is the health of our QB. As long as he's not hurt or playing hurt we're good to go!

Are you referring to a specific game or games where they made a critical drop? I mean, drops are part of the game, too, but I don't recall a ton of negative posts about MW's or KA's butterfingers. We lost at least a couple of those 1-score games because our defense couldn't stop the other team after Herbie and Offense did their part. If the 'D' does its job in those 2-3 games, we're in the playoffs.

The bottom line, for me, is that we just didn't have to horses last year to merit a playoff appearance. And I'm not buying the notion that we didn't have impact WRs, or that those receivers failed to make critical catches when the chips were down. I think our defense, and inability to protect Herbie at crunch time - and our failure in the running game, again because the right side of the OL - were more instrumental than our lack of talent at WR.
            Tough crowd indeed.

Agreed, Campbell has shown who he is as a player and it’s not impressive. Time to move aside for younger guys that can still develop.

When Campbell is not on the field, it's always a good thing.

Except for the KC game he had two INTs and a forced fumble. Not all bad.

He looks like he could play RT in the NFL (22 of his 23 career starts in college at offensive tackle).

We have 3/5 of a quality OL with a top prospect at 4.
LT Slater- LG Feiler - C Linsley. Zion will probably be RG.
Norton, Pipkins, Clapp, Salyer can fight it out for RT.
