The OL and RB additions should help.
In 2021 LAC's passing offense was 2nd most in yards, 5th in scoring. They were decent in spite of the offensive shortcomings mentioned.

In general, Staley isn’t going to go for it on 4th down if it’s more than two yards.

The failures get lots of attention, but there are plenty of examples of why going for it is the optimal decision.
The decision-making and decision-making processes of NFL coaches are evolving. They help themselves, and the public, when they explain them.

Neither on 4th and 2 at your 18 !
I'm for going on 4th down but

At a certain point one has to consider that good teams convert enough on third down to win games. Yes we use metrics but we are not as good at converting on third down as we need to be. Part of that is coverage on our wr part is pass protection and part a combo of both. A good defence will be able to blanket Allen and Williams leaving Guyton are Palmer or a TE or Eklers to be depended on. Of the options not named Allen Williams or Ekeler who do you trust?Go Rivers!
