Your user name is pretty much a call to action, for someone to register here with the user name Burt O'Neal.

      Just sayin'...

BTW... I don't expect that Adderley will be a member of the Bolts, moving forward. Just didn't play well enough to earn Second Contract money, on a team that could really use that money elsewhere.

        Burt Oneal?
I have Adderley back at the minimum suspecting nobody else wants him. Won't be surprised if a safety is drafted and he or Gilman is gone.

post combine, am willing to consider Darnell @21....

of the peoples eye presume to be on the board @21, still have Kincaid as mi first choice, and w/O'/Cyrus as plan B, and.... if the both of 'em are off the board, then would consider Washington @21.

round two, am gonna cross my fingers that Siaki Ika'll be there.... if not, thinkin' Tuli Tuipulotu and his production is well worth consideration, and as a somewhat undersized DE.... if the neither of them are available come 53, then would consider Jack Campbell to shore up our run D and replace Drue @ILB.

round three the presumptive choice for me is still Sewell.... next up would be Joe Tippmann @the OC, which is pretty much the only center that is of intrigue to me, and then JL Skinner is option three here if the aforementioned are nowhere to be found come our last pick day two.

round four, gonna cross my fingers again, this time in hopes of Julius Brents, and to spell as a hedge against Mike D.... the backup plan is Kenny McIntosh @RB.

round five for me, is between the RB & the WR, Israel Abanikanda and Andrei Iosivas....

Henry Bainivalu is top o' the list round six.

round seven is a full boat, w/the likes of Camerun Peoples, Connor Galvin, Atonio Mafi, Justin Shorter, Dante Stills, Drake Thomas, and.... the guy I really want from day three is Cameron Brown.

for an UDFA, any and/or all of the above would be great, and.... top o' the list is Travis Dye.

          1) TE Dalton Kincaid
          2) NT Siaki Ika
          3) LB Noah Sewell
          4) CB Julius Brents
          5) WR Andrei Iosivas
          6) OG Henry Bainivalu
          7) CB Cameron Brown

          8) OG Atonio Mafi, DT Dante Stills, LB Drake Thomas, RB Travis Dye, RB Ulysses Bentley IV

          FA) RB D'Ernest Johnson

if we trade Bosa, then my want list is OG O'Cyrus Torrence, OC Joe Tippmann, and if not them, then DE Tuli Tuipulotu.
ED Matayo Uiagalelei, OT Caleb Lomu, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry
ED Malcom Koonce, LB Isaiah Simmons, TE Cade Otton, RB Kyren Williams, QB Gardner Minshew, TE Jelani Woods, P Matt Araiza

Why are the Chargers not using a transitional tag on Pipkins? We are not tagging any other players so why not use it on a player for at least 1 year. If someone wants to give us a 2nd rounder for him then I'd be ok letting him go. Are we this stupid this year not getting something for him as he exits or at least get another 1 year rental out of him for $4 mil.

Yeah, Leslie O'Neal and Burt Grossman were on Charger rosters together for about 5 years. O'Neal was the first of the club's two 1st rounders in '86 (OL James Fitzpatrick was the other). Grosman was their 1st rounder in '88.

Both were D-lineman, but it was easy to tell them apart-- O'Neal was the one who made an impact, and Grossman was the one who did NOT! lol

Adderley seems like the more physically talented, but Gilman has been the better football player.

                    Mock of the day.

I’m focusing on beating KC. First I’m attacking Mahomes with fresh legs at edge. Second, I’m bringing in a LB with 2 years experience as a CB to provide better defense against Kelce. Beating KC is the first step to the SB.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
                    Let’s win one for Mack.
