Glad to see that. We certainly need those positions.

We will certainly soon need an Eke replacement.

I'm fuzzy on this. Can anyone remind me...in what "round" did we land Ekeler?

No round. He was an UDFA so we got a good deal.

Amarius Mims in the first round might be a good choice. Plug him in at RT day one, or maybe one of the top DT's!

              Pretty sure he knew that

Trade a 6th for Jovante Williams, a RB I wanted us to draft.
I also wanted us to draft Breece Hall.

Getting a Ekeler as a UDFA is rare.

I feel like the 1st two rounds are going to be DT and CB in either order. They need that pass rushing/run stopping DT so bad. With JC gone and Davis a FA, CB is pretty dire. They can find a good RB in the 3rd and some depth in free agency. But they also need a C to groom, or step in right away. Not sure what Linsley’s future looks like right now.

What's going on with him? I saw some highlights from the Bronco Jet game and it looked like Denver was not even using him. Is he still hurt?

He had a pretty bad knee injury last season. He may not be 100% as he tore his ACL and LCL....which im not even sure where a LCL is.

Some guys bounce back faster than others. Look at Guyton. He still isn't ready but JC was quick from his patella injury.
And I'm surprised Purdy is playing so soon with his Tommy John surgery late 8nnyje season..

B-Jolt, where do the Chargers stand at C? Is Creed Humphrey currently the best center in the division? I'm think the Chargers could get a humdinger of a C in the 3rd or 4th Rounds, I'm still going to bang my tiny fist on the table about RT #1 OVERALL and #2 being CB, but a new Center is on my radar.

I'm not B-Jolt but answer to your question. Creed Humphrey is the best center in the AFC, maybe the whole NFL. When at Oklahoma he was the best center in the FBS.

Creeds over all PFF rating is 89.9 and run blocking is 91.0. Not too shabby.
