Are we sure Beebe cant play RT in the NFL? I think he can, and I think Salyer can...I think they both upgrade Pipkins...so nab him on day 2, and put him and Salyer on the right side...use camp to figure out who plays RT, and who plays RG.

Joe Alt is the only oline man I would consider in the top 6 because he would shore up the position and looks to have generational talent potential!

Salyer has not been that great at guard. I think we can kick him out to RT, and Beebe to RG and they are interchangable. Thats one thought.

Positives: dad was an all pro OT, long arms just neutralize edge players, nice feet, good form

Negatives: i noticed that he is susceptible to bull rushers, doesn't anchor soon enough for my taste.
Ex tight ends that are 6'8" and 325: a little bit fearful of the strength factor with those types.

Would an Eric Fisher type be a success?

With those arms, a little coaching, and a little strength, his initial punch wont have to be that strong to disrupt a good bullrush, allowing him to anchor better...dont see it as a long term issue...likely solved quickly, in fact

if we double dip on onlineman in the draft and get joe alt and the center power johnson from oregon i think we rework our oline to something like this

              Lt- ALT
              LG- Salyer
              C- Power johnson
              RG- zion johnson
              RT- Slater

I think alt and slater are interchangeable you can flip them both to either tackle spot and be okay. Salyer is definitely a better lg than rg. even tho i do think he should be a tackle. zion is well zion idk how hes panning out rn kinda shaky ngl.

With the above oline suggested and good coaching that definitely looks like it could be one of the better young lines in football for years to come! I wouldn't be disappointed if something like this were to happen.

as LB suggested, Latham could be that fourth Flukeresque lineman.... after Fashanu, Alt and Fuaga.... ??

draw the proverbial line in the sand after Fuaga.... CB or Dline instead of Latham.

Beebe and Donovan Jackson are both LGs, who I think could play RG in the Pros, and do think Salyer is our best bet to move outside, as he played tackle in college.... ??

between the aforementioned and Jackson Powers Johnson and Fuaga, could go a long ways to keeping Justin upright and back to form of his earlier years.... is he getting jumpy back there w/this Oline ??

and that's all good, and.... still prefer Dline/front 7 for both day one & two.... if we get extra picks, then am good w/going after Oline day two.

Im kinda off Latham after watching him closely...

On Beebe...he WAS a very successful tackle...21 or 22, he was LT, youngest ever to get all conference nods...also started his career at RT...food for thought...as their best lineman, I think they basicly played him where they needed him most...but I wonder you dont bring him in, and just play him where the F#$k ever...we simply need a guy like that on this line, lol...

Day one....trade back to 10-13...nab Verse or Turner

Day two, three picks....Cooper Beebe, Trey Benson, Cade Stover

Beebe might be my favorite player after Bowers...thats a poor mans Zach Martin right there...I think he could play any position on the oline if he had too, though prob Salyer like at LT...smart, hardworking, gifted olineman...we'll find a spot for him, lol
