He is 360+ and agree he played well just isnt an every down player.

Texas WR Xavier Worthy wasnt a big factor in that game but not sure it was him or his QB? I like Worthy but he needs to be used in space, get the ball to him where he can run with it but he is small as well. Not much bigger than Tank Dell....but he is a tad.
    1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
    2. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio st
    3. Kyle Kennard Edge So. Carolina

    4. CJ West DT Indiana
    5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee
    6. Zah Frazier CB UTSA
    6. Jarquez Hunter RB Auburn
    6. Jay Higgins LB Iowa
    6. Hunter Wohler S Wisconsin
    7. Carson Vinson OT Alabama

Just draft guys who play hard every down, do it every round. Our depth issues will vanish. With high picks, draft as polished as possible (no more hands issues, please lol).

The more I think about it, the more I think the Chargers will better served this draft to trade down, to acquire additional 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks. The Chargers have a QB, LT and edge rushers. They need RBs, TE, WR, a starting RG and an IOL to replace SJD. Those can be acquired with value picks in day two of the draft.

The Chargers may beat the Chiefs Sunday, if so they'll probably drop from #6 to #8-9. Let's assume they are picking at No. 8. Let's say there's a QB needy team that wants to trade up for Washington QB Michael Pentix or LSU QB Jayden Daniels. What can they get for that pick? Can they get some team's 2nd & 3rd pick? Let's assume that, and go with the Chargers have two picks each in the 2nd or 3rd round.

My first question is, who is going to play RB next season. Ekeler is going to be gone. That leaves Kelley and Spiller, which means nobody. The Chargers need RBs, either through the draft or FA.

Texas RB Jonathan Brooks is slated to be the 1st RB chosen, but towards the end of the 2nd round. Personally I like Harbaugh's Michigan RB own Blake Corum. She's short, 5-8, but stout, 213, and he's fast, projected to have speed in the 4.3s. I could see him as a late 2nd or early 3rd pick. Another RB I like in this draft range is FSU's Trey Benson.

The Chargers need more speed at WR. Who knows if QJ is going to amount to anything. Mike Williams is probably gone? I think they will move on from Guyton as well. In Herbert's great rookie season, he had two established veteran WRs in KA/MW and he had two young speedsters with sub 4.4 speed who could stretch the field and catch long passes from Herbert behind the defense. I like Troy Franklin from Herbert's Duck alma mater. 6-3, 4.35 40. If the Chargers do trade down, this could be their first pick, as Franklin is projected to go near the top of the 2nd round. Another WR I like is another of Harbaugh's Michigan players, Roman Wilson. 6-foot, projected sub 4.4 speed. He can probably be had in the 3rd round, possibly late in the round.

Herbert needs a consistent, quality TE. Everett's contract is expiring, I have my doubts the new regime will bring him back. Luke Lachey out of the TE factory that is Iowa is one prospect I really like and he can probably be had in the 3rd round. I also like Ja'Tavion Sanders out of Texas, if he is still there at the top of the 2nd round.

CB is a glaring need as well and there are some value picks projected for the 2nd and 3rd round. Missouri's Kris Abrams-Draine is a junior and I'm not sure he's declared for the draft. But if they could get him at the top of the 2nd round, I think I would prefer that to using a top 10 pick on Kool Aid, who I think lacks the speed to be a top NFL CB. Another guy I like is Iowa State's T.J. Tampa, projected for the 2nd round, long and tall (6-2) and fast (4.4ish).

A couple of value picks in the third round I like are DT Mekhi Wingo out of LSU and another Harbaugh Michigan player, S Rod Moore. Either will probably be available in the 3rd round.

There's going to be a lot of value on RBs in the 4th round I think. They may have to take two in this draft, the Chargers corps is so depleted. That is why I think trading down out of the 1st round is a good idea in the this draft. Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson, Michigan's Donovan Edwards, Oregon's Bucky Irving, USC's Marshawn Lloyd, Wisconsin's Braelon Allen, Clemson's Will Shipley - anyone of these guys could probably be had in the 4th round.

Finally, they need to address the hole at RT. Telesco was foolish to give that contract to Pipkins. But they can't have him starting there next season if they truly want to protect Herbert. It's going to be a good draft for OT in the 2nd and 3rd round. I'm running out of steam on this post and won't list them. But it's another reason why I think the Bolts would be wise to trade their 1st round pick to acquire more day 2 and 4th round picks.

I like Jordan Shipley a lot.

Not saying cause he’s white but he reminds me of Christian Mcafrey. Can handle the ball out of the backfield. Fast speed. Can catch the ball out of the backfield.

                  Trey Benson is intriguing

                  Blake Corynyum she?????????

lots of good backs. I could argue Donavan Edwards is going to be a better running back then Blake Corynyum.

No fucking way are we trading back. Not in this draft.

fuck this shit we have to lose this weekend to KC. Those tanking fuckers no we can get the next Kelce in Bowers they’re gonna try to fucking lose.

                  Really no bulllshit.

let me give y’all a little story about the New York Jets. All they had to do was lose to the Rams a good team. Well they won and it cost them some guy named Trevor Lawrence. And they got Zach Wilson.

start Max Duggen Spiller Lamp who’s the practice squad receiver? Shit sign Mason Crosby to kick. For some reason Dickens Decker got a sore foot.

                  Tutu you’re wearing a Jersey.

                  Slater your in the jumpsuit.

basically this could mean we get Brock Bowers. Nobody is stupid. We will draft Brock Bowers.

But after Seeing what Phenix did you can see a run of 4 Quarterbacks in the top 10.

Who’s to say Caleb Williams is better then Michael Phenix? I can see Atlanta moving up to draft him. Michael Phenix looks like Patrick Mahomes.

                  let’s look

                  Bears Caleb?

                  Patriots Maye?

                  Cardinals Harrison jr.

                  Giants Owansou

                  Titans Alt

                  Chargers Bowers

                  Seahawks Phenix

                  Falcons Daniels.

Michigan doesn't have NFL type receivers, by not going Kool Aid's way, what does it show?
He does have quick feet on punt returns: I just never tried to analyze cbs, and those that I liked really popped out: Jalen Ramsey / Jason Verrett.
Jason Verrett had a great game against Odell Beckham Jr. in college: covered him like a blanket.
Looking at Kool Aid, how did he fair against top college receivers: Malik Nabers for instance?
Alabama had Arnold on him for most of the game. Nabers caught 10 passes for 171 yards: why not put Kool Aid on him?

It seems to be that Alabama keeps Mckinstry on the defense's right side and he doesn't travel over,
                      I don't know if I like that.

Here's a former NFL scout from the jets who breaks down Kool Aid
While many NFL Draft platforms have anointed Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry as a first-rounder, the game film isn't backing that.

Not studying these guys at all: but the little I notice seem apt questions.
Michigan has Roman Wilson (probable 4th round). He spent the whole afternoon going against Terrion (a prospect who will probably be a 2nd round pick). It shows that Harbaugh knew well enough that his #1 WR wouldn't do anything against McKinstry.

Malik Nabers did nothing vs McKinstry... and unlike Harbaugh, LSU tried. All of his receiving yards came against other DB's. If Nabers is considered top-10... then McKinstry should be in that conversation, too. I don't know why Saban only plays McKinstry on the right side. I do know that he uses McKinstry in man coverage to shut down one side of the offense. There are NFL teams that do the same thing with uber-talented CB's.

As for the article you posted... the writer believes Kool-Aid is a 3rd round talent. IMO, you can throw that eval in the trash. I've watched 5 complete games (exclusively watching McKinstry) of his 2023 film... Michigan, LSU, Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee. Those are ranked teams with good WR's. He was tasked with shutting down one side of the field... and did just that. He jams guys at the line, has excellent outside technique, and has the length to bat passes away when he plays inside technique. He plays very fast... I have no idea where the "too slow" narrative comes from.

Look... I like Alt, Fashanu, Nabers, Odunze, Bowers, and Latu. But I think McKinstry belongs there, too. Watch for yourself if you don't believe me. I've had pretty good success the last few years picking CB's.

We'll have to wait to see Kool Aid's 40 time first to determine if he's top 6 talent?! Deion Sanders the greatest CB of all time went #5!

If Kool Aid runs a 4.5 he falls drastically! Deion ran 4.27!

«The Chargers may beat the Chiefs Sunday, if so they'll probably drop from #6 to #8-9. »

Impossible to have the 9th pick.
                          ATL is 9th at 7-9.
