Davis looks tough with great vision and decent hands.Could be a nice late rounder scoop up.

A Quick look back on one of last year’s draftees. Is he ready for more playing time this year? I still view him as a solid 5th rounder.

McFadden was drafted by LA in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 156 overall pick.

For the entirety of the season, Jordan played in 163 offensive snaps, committed zero penalties, and allowed one sack. He also only allowed two hits and five total pressures. According to PFF, he received an overall grade of 52, a pass block grade of 54, and a run block grade of 49.5.

He did just fine in a limited role and is hoping this could propel him to a more prominent role in 2024.

"Definitely a huge confidence booster knowing that you can do it," McFadden said. "That's big and just to get the experience, there's nothing like actually doing it out there and doing it yourself. Just to get the experience, see different things, it's definitely big."

      (per Jordan McFadden via Chargers.com)
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      Let’s win one for Mack.

Not that impressed to be honest. He has good feet, good vision.

Not fast, not a big tackle breaker for his size and he is playing inferior opponents. Saw some bad tackling in there and don't think he has the speed for those runs he runs way outside in the NFL.

He just looks better than the guys he is playing against if you know what I mean. Watch him then go watch Jaylen Wright. Big difference imo.
Not saying he blows, just think he is meh like Roundtree was.

100% agree. (This) Davis is not the guy to transform our rush attack. There are more than a half dozen runners that look better against actual D1 competition and some guys that will actually play on Sundays. He may not have played against a single defender who will play on Sunday.

                Brooks
                Benson
                Corum
                Estime
                Irving
                Johnson
                The other Davis (Wisconsin)
… even Wright, as you mention (who is not my favorite in the class)

we could go on. He’s a Sammy small school star that shines against D3 level talent. Look in the SEC, B10, B12, ACC, P12 … there are plenty of RBs that played at high level against top competition.

He’s decisive, sees and hits the holes quickly, has a very nice, late change of direction to elude tacklers. He doesn’t look to have long speed, but he does look quick thru the line of scrimmage which is where you make your living as a RB.

And I’d propose taking him late where most players don’t work out anyway. He is not a complete back, he’s a running down thumper.

Kinda reminded me of watching Quinn Meinerz against the lower division just pancaking everyone lol.

My RBs in this draft would be

                    Benson- 223 lbs
                    Brooks(ACL injury)207
                    Wright 210
                    Estime 227
                    Corum. 213
Allen 245 ...want to see his time, don't believe it will be the 4.4 I see
                    R. Davis. 216

Bucky Irving imo is too small (195) to be pounding the rock like we should be. Need to have a commity with size over 200 lbs.

                    Just my opinion

Oddly he sort of reminds me of Isaiah Spiller! If Davis runs in the 4.4's at the combine, maybe.

Bucky is our Ekeler replacement but probably better.

Estime Corum or Benson to wear the cowbell. Wright is good too, not my favorite but as a Day 3 pick, sure
