and not sure why the world stops and ends w/BB ?? Ben Sinnott is a mid rounder and he sure fits the bill.... is as good or better a blocker than Bowers, is as good or better a deep threat than Bowers, and has as good or better hands as well. and he might not be BB fast, but he's pretty much Luke Musgrave fast, who if I recall was the fleetest afoot last go 'round ?? and most importantly, if we nab him @69, he's a hellah lot better value than paying thru the nose @5 overall for the Brockhammer.DT Peter Woods, LB CJ Allen, OC Iapani Laloulu, NT Dontay Corleone, ED Matayo Uiagalelei, LT Trey Zuhn, TE Justin Joly, LB Eric Gentry
TE Cade Otton, QB Kenny Pickett, CB Josh Jobe

I could see Arizona drafting Ouduze because he looks like Larry Fitzgerald. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chargers run and hand in the card to draft Marvin Harrison Jr.Originally posted by beachcomber View Post
have mentioned it a (coupla) few times, and.... for some reason can't shake the sense that Odunze is gonna land in Az ??

Anything under a 4.5, and you'll need an Olympic sized pool to hold all of the ensuing media slobber.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
I have a feeling Odunze might be a big winner at the combine....big dude,,,,220...if he runs 4.4....
Like, people will be wetting their pants if Odunze runs a 4.47

I just listened to a interview from Lo Neal and the Smith guy from the Chargers talking to Scott Pioli.Originally posted by Boltnut View Post
But you specifically said "Everybody on the team becomes instantly better under Harbaugh"...
Pioli said the best hire the Chargers made was Devlin for the OL and said he WILL make the OL better. Among other things. It was an interesting interview.

Given, that in the low-probability event of MHJ sliding to #5, you just plain take him.
However, IMO... Seems likely Arizona could get *SO* much for that pick in trade that they'd move out of it, rather than taking Odunze.
If you take Odunze at #4? You'd have to believe that Odunze is a Calvin Johnson level receiver. Based off what I've seen, I wouldn't claim anyone who believed that was flat wrong.

No way! He'll be gone by the 3rd round. I watched 8 or 9 games. He is the captain of the nation's best OL in college. He may not be as strong as JPJ... but he moves much better. I actually like him more that JPJ or Frazier. I've watched their games, too. This happens every year... experts suddenly drop certain guys and escalate others. It happened to Van Ness and Tuli last year.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
Some think round 3 is too early for him and have a 4th round grade. I would rather sign a veteran than use 37 in a good draft ona reachProtect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

Any sense of *HOW* Devlin accomplishes that? Schemes? Techniques? Ditching the current O-linemen on the roster for a new crop?Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

We were pitched the notion that Kellen Moore would bring schemes to the Chargers that would make the O-line much more effective than it had been under Joe Lombardi. Pretty much the OPPOSITE happened, so you can understand my curiosity about Devlin.

I'd like to have TWO Ben Sinnotts, but would settle for one. I like his game a lot, and he'd instantly be the best blocking TE the Bolts have had since Hunter Henry. Even better than HH as a blocker, IMO.Originally posted by beachcomber View Postand not sure why the world stops and ends w/BB ?? I like Mike Devlin... I believe he worked under Aaron Kromer. But you need talent, too. Devlin... Harbaugh... Roman... they've all had good results, but they've also had talent to work with. Pipkins was just a big fish swimming in the waters of Sioux Falls. They knew he was a project... but even Manyweather has had a hard time developing him.Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

He didn't elaborate much but the OL was worse this year than 2022 after a new OL coach came in 2023. I guess he just knows him and his work...just like he said we will be better with Harbaugh. Had good things to say about Roman too.Originally posted by Ghost of Quacksaw View Post
