Don't count yer chickens before they hatch...we've been coaching Pip up for the past several years...and he's still got issues...didn't Pip also go to Duke's fun camp?...so, I'm still hoping he improves under Harbo, but NOTHING is certain in life...except for death & taxes...

I would like to draft JCJ but ALSO to sign a vet C at least for depth...don't want to see Clapp and Jaimes as backups again...

It sure is a relief now that we don't have to draft a TE @#5

OC at #11 is still kind of high vs value on the board. We'll see what their evaluation of the current roster leads them to - if they don't think current roster can do it, OT is the pick. If they do, then ... someone else lol.
Exactly... get SVP in the 2nd round, please.

There is not a more important group out there... for our team... for any team. All great teams have great OL's. If there is a weak link in the OL... then the whole OL is only as good as their weakest link. I've been saying this for years. IMO, Trey has maxed out. He's below-average to mediocre. Will better OL coaching fix this...? Maybe a little. But there are balance and foot-speed issues that even Duke Manyweather has been unable to fix. Harbaugh and Hortiz are watching tape right now. I hope they are watching 2022's tape. I hope they notice that Salyer (drafted as a guard) did a very nice job at LT (in Slater's absense). I hope they notice that the Chargers started rolling help Pipkins way once Salyer proved he could hold his own at LT. Maybe Harbaugh/Hortiz/Roman feel Salyer can be a good RT and they decide to go after a RG in the draft... it would cost them less draft capital for sure. I hope they watch Pipkins v Crosby or Pipkins v Karlaftis/Danna and realize just how vulnerable Pipkins (and Herbie) are. If they think that a mediocre RT is what they want to run their offense through... then by all means, keep Pipkins @RT.
The only way Salyer get's noticed by the current staff is if he rededicates himself to getting his body right in the gym, the guy has never been in shape since they drafted him...he claims to work out with his buddies at Georgia during the offseason but I honestly wonder what the fuck they do out there except maybe have contests to see who can do most reps of deep fried bullshit at the Plantation Buffet...

so you are counting against Harbaugh doing what he has done everywhere else? WTF?

LOL, I've never said Parham even makes the team, I'm pretty sure I've been outspoken on here about cleaning house at RB and TE and just starting from scratch...Donald doesn't fit the profile for the type of TE these guys have used in the past...

If we miss out on JPJ, Frazier seems like a nice consolation price with the 37th pick.

Some think round 3 is too early for him and have a 4th round grade. I would rather sign a veteran than use 37 in a good draft ona reach

Frazier would be a fine pick at 37, but DJ had him and Barton slipping into the first in his latest mock

have mentioned it a (coupla) few times, and.... for some reason can't shake the sense that Odunze is gonna land in Az ??
