Bottom line is with this HC & OC we have to do something with our Oline! Based on how they played last season as of right now they are our weak link as a whole!

Funny to me Michigan had the best offensive line in college football but nobody wants anything to do with them.

It must be Harbo's coaching...Zack Zinter is probably the top Michigan O-lineman, and even he is projected to go somewhere on Day 3...so, maybe this is good news for us...if Harbo is able to coach up a few marginal jags to play well as a unit, perhaps even someone like Pip can get coached up...actually, if Zinter is still there in round 5 or 6, with Harbo lobbying, it wouldn't surprise me to see the Bolts take him to shore up their OG depth...then send Salyer to RT to compete with Pip...whoever loses in TC gives us decent T depth...
            22 - TE Mason Taylor
            55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
            86 - DL Josiah Stewart
            125 - G Dylan Fairchild
            158 - C Jake Majors
            181 - WR Donte Thornton

Probably because dude doesn't want to clocked in the 4.4's!
Caleb Williams, Marvin Harrison, and Brock Bowers are rumored as non-participants, as well. It doesn't bother me. The weigh-ins, interviews, and medical examinations are the most important parts of the event. Reading the reports of what the doctors say about Laiatu Latu is what I'm most interested in. I'm also interested to see if Xavier Legette is truly 6-3, 230 pounds or if he's actually 6-1. What's Brock Bowers' height and weight? Is Erick All off the Chargers' draft board after his father talked a bunch of shit about Harbaugh following the transfer to Iowa? That's the kind of stuff I'll look into.

I suppose if someone performs terribly in the drills it will be a story.

I wouldn't say nobody wants anything to do with them. All of the ones who are draft-eligible will probably be picked at some point. They also weren't lining up against Aaron Donald, Chris Jones, Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons, or T.J. Watt last fall or in the playoffs. The best players they faced on the line were probably Dallas Turner, Chop Robinson, and JT Tuimoloau.

I guess you guys guys that want Alt think he's the next Joe Thomas or someone of that caliber, to me, I don't even think he's the clear cut best tackle coming out in this draft which brings me to another point, if the goal you guys have is simply to take Alt because you want to replace Trey, then why not trade down in this OT rich draft and get a bunch of draft capital in the process and still upgrade RT? There are at least 5 tackles that compare favorably to Alt in this draft and some of those guys have strengths that Alt lacks and may never have...why spend the 5th overall on an OT in THIS draft? doesn't make any fucking sense to me unless you guys think he's the best OT you guys have seen in 10 years or some such shit, to me Alt is not that guy some people have compared him to Robert Gallery, I'm not going to go that far and I think he's better than that for sure, but I don't see the stupid comparisons to Jonathan Ogden or Orlando Pace, to me that shit is ridiculous, he's no Joe Thomas either...my comp for Alt is Taylor Lewan so I don't think Alt is a bad player, I would take Alt around picks 9-12 but I think the 5th pick is a bit rich for Alt especially in this draft with so many other options available at OT...

Now about Bowers, what other blue chip TE options are there in this draft? an offensive tackle I'm kind of high on is not really being talked about as much as some of the others but I think he might come out as one of the best in the bunch in the next few years and that's Kingsley Suamataia and I think he might be available at #37 but the combine always moves people around a bit, he reminds me of Sewell, I'm not saying he's as good but that's who I think about when I see his tape...
I don't think Joe Alt is the next Joe Thomas. I don't think anyone here has said he is comparable to Thomas, Ogden, or Pace. I haven't read that anywhere, actually. I also don't think Brock Bowers is the next Travis Kelce, or Malik Nabers is the next Tyreek Hill or JaMaar Chase. (I've read those comparisons for Brock and Nabers on this forum, for sure.) Then there's Rome Odunze, whom some are comparing to Larry Fitzgerald. These comparisons are ridiculous, as far as I'm concerned.

I would prefer to trade down. What if we can't? Then my choice would be Alt with the fifth overall pick if Marvin Harrison, Jr. isn't there. Trading down is optimal because there are several areas Harbaugh and Hortiz can go by doing so while acquiring extra picks.

Why does Alt have to be Joe Thomas, Jonathan Ogden, or Orlando Pace with the fifth overall pick? You're talking about three of the greatest offensive tackles in NFL history. Perhaps because you think Brock Bowers is the next Tony Gonzalez or Travis Kelce. I don't. And how are you comparing Alt to Taylor Lewan? What is about those two that leads you to believe Alt will end up like Lewan?

There are multiple tight ends I like in this draft not named Brock Bowers. I really like Sanders, Stover, and Sinnott. I would be all about Erick All with a mid-round pick, but his father posted a bunch of shit about Harbaugh after Erick transferred from Michigan to Iowa. We don't have to draft Brock Bowers fifth overall to improve our tight end situation.

This HC, OC, OL coaches, S&C trainers will do something with last years OL guaranteed. 2023 coaching was a stinking pile.
We'll have a new C. Movement among the rest? Maybe. April OTAs may provide some clues.

Zinter is a really good player, probably best Michigan had, but he had a really bad (broken leg) injury early last season and that was it for him. I don't know where he is in coming back from that. He is really, really tall for a guard almost 6' 7" so that will mess with draft writers. He is not skinny, his weight matches his height. He is a nasty, tough player that would be great to have on our team. He would probably be 2nd/3rd round w/o the injury. Not sure where he ends up now.

The center was Drake Nugent. He doesn't have the measurables NFL draft writers look for so he is not highly rated. He is a fiesty, smart player though and would be a good late round addition or piriority sign if he somehow goes undrafted. Nugent transferred from Stanford so a double Harbaugh guy!

How about Tom Brady looking like the bartender at Seaus!!!!????

                        it’s a joke.

Jamarcus Russell throwing on his ass.

Why do we need this shit???

did you really need to see Patrick Mahomes in gym shorts???

We saw a beast when Mahomes went toe to toe with Baker Mayfield OU Texas Tech.

if you can’t evaluate from game tape you’re an idiot.

How can you evaluate from gym shorts????

You gotta see guys play. Guys in pads.

Justyn Ross bengals ran what a 4-2 is he even in football now???? What a joke?
The Combine has its place. Yes the tape dont lie but for some players if they run fast or have a great shuttle, etc....they open some teams eyes and force them to go look at them more if they havent before. I can see that Brealion Allen has decent speed for his size and is big but maybe for them he is a tweener and want to see his agiltiy. But sure i want to see him run. Want to see Kool Aid run. I dont care if Nabahs runs or does drills or if a QB dont throw like Caleb is said to not be doing.

And a dumb 40 can elevate some guys. Thats how dumb some scouts and owners are lol. I think some scouts really arent very good and got a he is "my buddy" job on some teams.

JJ McCarthy will be the Tom Brady of this draft.

oh I hope he doesn’t go to the Raiders.

He’s gonna win 3 super bowls.

This is what always happens. Nothing makes sense. But a 70 completion percentage. And sneaky Patrick Mahomes athleticism.

what is he “6-5 ? I like the Kid a winner.

The Falcons should take him. I think he’s a franchise Quarterback. Sean Payton knows something. That’s why he likes the kid.

When the season starts and he throws 5 touchdowns in his first game. The commentators are going to say well Harbaugh never let him throw. He didn’t have to throw. Safe pro bowl talent. One of the safest picks in the draft.
Pretty random take lol. Its all about where JJ goes. That matters a lot. He will also be a 1st rounder to Bradys 6th so...not the same.

Sean Payton is between a rock and a hard place so he is desperate. Wilson isnt staying if he can help it and Payton already said he wont be their starter, May as well get something for him if they have to pay him anyways.

I think is funny Wilson came out and said he will take the vet minimum to play somewhere and be a starter. Well sure, he is getting his money from Denver and a league mimimum elsewhere lol. He wouldnt play the vet minimum if he didnt have guaranteed money coming.
