So the consensus is we gotta try to draft Trey Benson?

Some of the draft guys that visited Chargers Weekly were raving about a center from Penn St and said he was better than Frazier. Do you know his name?Originally posted by Lone Bolt View PostSo Im into the Bortolini tape...vs Illinois, Iowa...this kid is really good! Turns out the knock on him is his actual snapping of the ball...he is a versatile lineman who got pressed into the Center position this year...his shotgun snaps are like lobs...dont really zip back there...geez. we can fix that, I would think. As a blocker, he is very good, run and pass...good Senior Bowl, good Combine...I am giving him position 3 over Van Pran on the Centers list.

Yeah I want to see him run as well and it the jugs machine. Hopefully he will hit it before his pro day.Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

Sure but we scored 17 and 12 points respectfully against them. You're not going to beat them with that type of performance on offense. Plus this was the worst yearOriginally posted by Boltnut View Post
Yep. It ain't gonna happen. Getting into a score-fest against KC is a poor strategy.
You have to play good defense and get KC to turn the ball over. All of their defeats this year came when KC scored less than 20 points. The Raiders iced the game by running the ball at the end... Mahommes sitting and watching.
Their losses came to the Bills (20-17), Raiders (20-14), Packers (27-19), Eagles (21-17), and Lions (21-20). No QB threw for over 300 yards. Only one threw for over 250 yards. Not a single WR had over 100 yards. The offensive play calling was very balanced, the QB's limited turnovers and the defenses played solid ball... even created turnovers. Almost every single loss included a turnover-on-downs by the opposing defense in the 4th quarter... followed by successful running game to ice the game.
That's how you beat the Chiefs... not trying to outscore them.
KC had on offense. They basically won because of their D not O this past year. They first lost Hill, then subsequently lost their two best WRs receivers from 2022. That
really hurt their offense. Luckily they have a premier D, with Mahomes and Kelce on offense and a top coaching staff.
49ers Offense was loaded and they could only manage 19 for four quarters. You beat KC's D and you win.

Not a bad idea, Ow...keep those out of the box thoughts coming...Originally posted by SAY OW 55 View PostI’m a maverick Here me out.
I would draft Luke McCafrey and develop him as a running back. I would make him our running back. Figure it out. I think with Harbaugh coaching he could do it.

That would be Hunter Nourzad...decent run blocker but a bit weak in pass pro:Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
