Not such a secret any more...but...looks like something must be working...McCarthy now mocked by Jeremiah to rise to #4 overall...
(I don't like that the Vikes bypass us and we lose out on two first rounders...we shall see...)

Only reason I can think Malike Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr. have promises. From my experiences with workouts. Guys have a promise and that’s why they will decline to workout. Agents don’t allow them.

if your a lock for top 5 or top 6 why go workout?

Oiudunzw e is looking like he’s trying to make those teams take him instead.

Picking top 5 comes with a lot of pressure to get it right.
if you don't need a QB, you'd hope there was a defensive talent like Sauce or a Von Miller type as a "safe pick"
        or "generation OT"
        Not this year.

That leaves Pennix and Nix as coveted QB prospects. Rich Eisen said when he was at the Combine, the most persistent rumor he heard is that the Giants are absolutely done with Daniel Jones, despite what they say publicly. If Eisen is hearing it so are other teams. If the Giants are a threat to draft a QB at #6 there might be multiple teams wanting to leapfrog the Gmen even if the Cards deal their #4 pick. The Broncos and Raiders, even the Jets, Seahawks and Saints, are all potentially in the QB market. The Broncos most definitely.

The plan should simple if @5 MHJ is there or the Chargers like Nabers better you draft one of them and there's your new starter. If you want Bowers more you trade down to Pick #11 and hope he's there and draft him and there's your starting TE, if he's not you draft your highest rated RT and there's your starter.

Seahags and the Jets don't have a 2nd rounder this year, so that hurts their trade stock...The Saints have Carr, who though not elite, he's good enough most games...and they have Haener, a pretty decent backup...BUT...u never know...if Carr starts having a series of bad games, the Saints may want to be sure they have a good 3rd stringer to groom. If I'm Trader Joe, I'll want #14, #45, #150 AND next year's first rounder...

MHJ is a prospect that is a sure thing. Size, athleticism, speed, hands... evertyhing.
And that is why the Cardinals will take him @#4.

Cowherd is right, in that, Harbaugh and Hortiz probably value OT more... certainly more than most here on TPB.
Which is why the trade between Vikings and Chargers makes sense. Vikings don't have to grossly overpay. The Chargers get a great RT @#11... and another 1st rounder to choose DT, CB, LB, WR... whatever they want.
                Protect the QB
                Run the ball
                Play great defense

I hear zero people outside of here calling Fuaga a great RT prospect, much less a great RT.

You'll probably end up getting a good RT.
                  Great RT's don't last until #11.

What do people think? Brain Daboll said that Daniel Jones is their guy next year.

Chris Simms thinks Dabol is on the level.

Well, Jeremiah has Fuaga going to us at #10:

Another website has him as the #4 ranked OT:

In his third mock of the 2024 NFL Draft, Daniel Jeremiah projects the Jets and Vikings will trade into the top five to take big swings at addressing needs on offense. Check out the full first-round projection, 1-32.

Well a good RT is better than what we have!

Jakie Slater was drafted in the 3rd round.. Jason Peters went undrafted...Art Shell was drafted in the 3rd round! These are all time great OT's

So RT's could last until pick 11!!!! It's happened before.
