I don't think he'll be there in the 4th round. I think he'll go in the 3rd, maybe low 2nd.

Yea. Not sure they would get the #23 for the trade but it also makes it easier for them to trade up to #3 or #4 if they wanted to. IF, the rumors are true and they get #23 in a trade down I would seriously consider trading up from #23. I want more draft picks, but the thought of drafting Odunze and Bowers would be almost to good to not trade up. Let that sink in for a second.

I don't know he has been mocked all over the place. Seems like I have seen him more in the 4th. There are too many good WRs to get any idea where these guys are going to fall. There is a very good chance there will be a run of WRs in the 2nd or 3rd so it's possible.

I kind of think he will,
and I'd probably prefer other players and positions there

He had Caleb Williams as his Qb and some lesser Pac 12 defensive backs to go up against.
There isn't really one aspect of his game I really like: just solid everywhere.

PFF has him projected at the bottom of the 3rd, #95, which is the Chiefs' pick.

I guess I'll start with the obvious...

                  1) Greg Roman's offense. It doesn't need "generational" WR's (or TE's).
                  2) The graph shows Chicago @#3... and us @#32. I think we all know why.
                  3) The graph has the AFC and NFC champions all near the bottom 1/2. Where are the Ravens...?

                    NEGATIVES

                    — Below-average acceleration. Kind of lumbers out of stance, takes time to hit top speed.

                    — Needs to improve his hand-fighting and ability to work through contact. Bullied into the sideline too often.

                    — Struggles to stop and come back for the ball in the air. Often misjudges where the ball is and mistimes jump.

I hope you won't use him as your deep threat, to take the top off a defense when the safety moves down into the box to smother your running game Boltnut.
I hope this is not what you have in mind when talking about waiting for all those studs to complement Josh Palmer that will be pushed down to day 3.
I guess this just shows that a 4.55 can still get behind the secondary when play-action is employed.
                    But we already knew that.

Doesn't accelerate out of his cuts like Gatesy; doesn't body up and pivot.

He'll get a lot of his tds coming off of reverses and screens: getting him the ball behind the line of scrimmage type stuff.
Also keep in mind that in 2023, Bowers didn't have Monken, who is basically a TE guru, and missed 2 games.
So Bowers' development likely took a hit.
the only other TE Guru type is Greg Roman.
Bowers here with G-Ro learning under Hayden Hurst in a TE friendly scheme is a perfect match.
No he's no Gates, I admit, but he more than makes up for that acceleration with versatility and advanced route running for a college guy.
He finds "soft spots" and is a reliable target. Commands attention because of his YAC ability.
An automatic decoy on every play.

Odunze at WR1 also works for us cuz it pushes QJ solidly to the slot, how he killed Harbaugh’s Michigan team.

Yeah, I thought it was odd... given the hatred for pff.
Even more odd... Arjan is a Michigan grad. You would think he saw a few games while there... LOL!
