    5 spots is a lot...now, TT would trade UP 2-3 spots for a 3rd, a 5th and next year's 4th...
    22 - TE Mason Taylor
    55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
    86 - DL Josiah Stewart
    125 - G Dylan Fairchild
    158 - C Jake Majors
    181 - WR Donte Thornton

      (Or, stand pat @#5...)
Don't get me wrong - I'd love for that to happen. I have family in the Twin Cities and the rumors floating around are that the Vikings may not be willing to grossly overpay to move up (meaning nothing more than 11 and 23 this year). If that is the asking price, they may just take whatever QB is left at 11 and fill another hole at 23. I guess we find out soon!

Vikes are blowing up the phone lines #2-#10, and chewing on their fingernails.

I think it's pretty well understood that a QB, or MHJ-- one, or the other, by mathematical necessity-- will be available at #5, and in either case? Tthat 'overpayment premium' is merited.

Worst case scenario? You draft MHJ. There isn't anything bad about that. But it seems really logical to me that the #5 pick will draw interest. Enough interest for Hortiz to say 'yes'? We'll see. But I will not be surprised at ALL if it happens.

Man, I’ve said for months this is a deep OL class, and all I got back was panicky “We’re doomed if we don’t draft Alt!!” nonsense. Now everybody’s having reasonable conversations about 6th rounders? Sheesh. Motley bunch, but welcome aboard, always room..

I think the Vikes wanna trade up...but the cards are gonna say no, take a lesser deal from the Giants, and still get their WR...thats my take. As much as I would love to trade back, the Cards aint gonna stick and pick...they are gonna get some value outta that 4th...either with the Giants, or by deciding to rape the Vikings...

Only hope for a tradeback is a 3 way that puts the cards at 5, vikes at 4, and us at 11 and 23...or maybe somebody trades with us for MHjr...but bottom line? Cards are trading out.

I dont remember any hyperbole like that regarding Alt...and I dont think anybody believes a 6th rounder is gonna improve the right side.

Blake Corum, Ray Davis, and Kimani Vidal...all "big backs" under 5'9"...they run strong, got some wiggle and vision, break tackles. have great contact balance...bonus...all would pair nicely with Davis on kickoffs with the new rules...as all show some nice open field running on tape...

Oh it’s there. And yes, a 6th rounder could easily improve the right side with this coaching staff. Just need somebody with feet.

Then this coaching staff should be fine sorting out Pipkins...

Wait a minute...did you just lead me to your point...?
