I have no problem doing what Popper said, "rip off the bandaid" meaning move on from the big 4 and have 50 million in cap and go with young players like the Packers nd Rams

IF Harbaugh is the coach, and thats a big if...then he will decide how to use the pick...it will be interesting.

Caleb has not declared for the draft...maybe he does not want to play for Chicago or Washington? Don't blame him.

Hmmmm...Can we swing a deal somehow?

CJ Stroud vs a guy who was watching football from his couch, balancing beer bottles on his belly button less than 2 months ago.
Don't see what your point is. Mahomes and Stroud did just fine yesterday without a first-round wide receiver or tight end to throw to. We have Justin Herbert, whom many here put close to or better than Mahomes. If Mahomes and Stroud can do what they have been without any first-round wide receivers or tight ends, why can't Herbert?

Romeo Doubs, a fourth-round pick last April, just had six receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown, with Jordan Love throwing it to him. The Packers don't have a first-round pick on a wide receiver or tight end, either. They have six first-round picks on their defense, though.

That is true. There's a reason why more pass-rushers and offensive tackles go in the top five picks, though. And there are plenty more examples of wide receivers and tight ends drafted in the second round or later making significant impacts than there are offensive tackles and pass-rushers picked in the second round or beyond.

Coaching matters. Herbert had Lynn’s last year and 3 years of Staley.

                  Doubs - 4th round
                  Wicks - 5th round
Melton - 7th round (from Seattle)
                  Reed - 2nd round
                  Watson - 2nd round
Exactly. And they have six first-round picks on defense. Rashan Gary, Quay Walker, Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, Jaire Alexander, and Lukas Van Ness.

And? Neither of them will be the Chargers' head coach next season.

I’ve soured on taking any wr at 5 unless their name is Marvin Harrison. I’m see way too many playoff teams succeed with wr1 being mid draft picks. Mhj if by miracle he’s around, Joe alt or trade down and accumulate

Positional MVPs thus far in the playoffs for me are: QB > LT > CB > RB/WR.
