Not to mention Bowers can help run blocking and protection. Bowers also is the type of tough, character player that will help with thw much needed culture change to make this team less soft.

Good WRS come in every draft. TEs like Bowers dont.

If we do get Harbaugh, he might want a tackle or he might want Bowers as his type of guy. I read he tried to recruit Bowers

Bowers is no ordinary TE. As I have said here before, watch the film. He is ALWAYS the best player on the field. Period. Dude can be used in so many ways, just an absolute weapon. Speedy wrs come and go, every draft has them, but Bowers is special. If we pass on him, we will regret that for years.

Telesco was that thing in the back of the refrigerator, that once upon a time might have had some appeal,
but after a while, it frightened you and you just left it alone well past its shelf date.

I wouldn't want to draft Bowers because it is a weak tight end class behind him.

Better options deep tend to go quickly, or they have a very limited route tree.
But by all means, draft a Nabers in the 2nd/3rd round,
if you have the ability to identify them.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how Bowers beats up on dbs like Gronk or Kelce.
Just running beautiful post patterns in college isn't good enough for me.

Seems WR finds in the 3rd round is normal. Some of the best have been 3rd rounders.
Troy Franklin who is likely a high 2nd rounder would be great for us as well.

WR class is much more deeper than TE is this year was my point.

I just have a feeling if we get Harbaugh we will go trenches or TE. But I really have no idea. He may not bring the same offense with him.

I hope Spanos don't screw this up and push Moore on him. I get it would be continuity for Herbert but let Harbaugh hire who he wants.

Did you see Kelce and Gronk play in College? If you didn't then I don't know what you are asking for. Kelce only had 59 receptions in college in 3 years. 45 of them his last year. Been seeing Bowers doing it for all three years.

He had more than 59 as a freshman and 100 more than Gronk had in College.
He has been stellar from the get go.

And I didn't see Bowers running a lot of posts patterns lol. Just the clips that have been posted here don't have a bunch of post patterns in them.

Guys, I'm not sure what the answer is for us at WR but I do like what the Packers have at WR and none of them were 1st round picks...

                  Doubs - 4th round
                  Wicks - 5th round
Melton - 7th round (from Seattle)
                  Reed - 2nd round
                  Watson - 2nd round

Exactly! Wish we could do that for our WR corps.
