Only player ive seen do both in college in this draft is Edgerrin Cooper but he is undersized for Edge at 230 lbs. If he can add 10 or so, he would be a nice pick for us if they want versatility. Or just as a ILB he would be a good pick. Thinking JH & Minter like Colson.
They are different players for sure, a poster was saying Turner is built slight however he's built very similar to Parsons in fact he may be slightly bigger!

Mocks are funny. I've seen Bowers as high as #5, to us, and as low as #18, to the Bengals. I've also seen about half a dozen guys to us, at least, if we stay @5. I think this is going to be one of the most interesting drafts for the Chargers in a while. Lots of options.

So, after thinking long and Hard I think the best thing the Chargers could do this draft is trade back and grab as many picks as they can. This means going out of the to 10 if they can. Normally I'm not a multiple trade back guy or trade out of the but in the case, I think it's the best. The reason is because both Harbaugh and a lot of his staff is coming out of the college ranks. They have seen most of these players up close and personal and in some cases tried to recruit some of these guys. They won't have a chance like this again so they should take advantage of the situation.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

If Marvin Harrison Jr. falls to #5, which I see more and more pundits predict due the belief the 1st four picks will be QBs, the Chargers will no-brainer take him, right? Do we agree on this?

No, I think we will trade out. I mean it's possible but to me , I think they know what they want to do and just can't see WR being the pick. But it's possible. Not a given.

That is what I had been thinking/wanting, to trade down. But if Marvin Harrision Jr. is going to be there at #5, how do you not take him?

I actually like Nabahs better. I think the Bears will trade up from 9 to 5 for one of them.

But either would work for us but do you really think we need a WR in round 1? Keenan is staying.
Are we trading Palmer? We won't be in a lot of 3 WR sets. Palmer is cheap enough to be the #4 I guess.

That's my guess. I don't have a good read on these guys yet but I do think they want to build from the inside out.

Bowers makes more sense than a WR but we'll see.
