There is no clear indication of what will happen with the first four picks until FA. Wilson, Cousins and probably Fields will be available. One or more of the
top four teams may bite. That would not be a good thing for us.

re: a trade down.... gotta believe the most likely partner is Trader Tom,
not sure if there is a great incentive to trade down just one spot for what is valued as their fourth and fifth picks, or you could possibly get them to give you a next year's third, as those of you who think you could get more outta them.... would you give us more if the roles were reversed ??
and if Fields goes to Atlanta, and Cousins stays in Minny, that leaves Sean Payton and of which would prolly cost him his third and a next year's No. 1 ?? ....does that work for either team ??
enter Mr. Tom, who has a this year's second and third to roll out, and of which includes premium trade value, and given that he largely defers to his HC @times, and that Pierce is heavily in favor of bringing in a new QB into the mix, and nothing less than as his starter.... gotta believe Vegas is the leading candidate in a trade down scenario ??
and for those of you who think you're getting more than that back, the only thing I see is that Tom has three seventh rounders, and of which his history suggests he doesn't value them too highly, so perhaps he sets a coupla few of those free as part of the deal.... personally I'd gladly take 'em and pretty certain that Joe would gladly take'm as well.
and personal opinion/suspicion as to who is (still) on the board @13 would include your buddy Brock, the CBs, Laiatu, the two DTs, and (my buddy) FuagaED Matayo Uiagalelei, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry
TE Jelani Woods, LB Isaiah Simmons, TE Cade Otton, RB Kyren Williams, P Matt Araiza

I admit I didn't watch a lick of the combine and have been too busy to read much but from looiing at tape a while ago, I see Verse as a stronger and more technically skilled version of Turner, despite the recent hype.
Still my edge 1.

I'm not an auto-yes, but I'm definitely not an auto-no if we are negotiating against TT. It all depends on the offer.
TT vs Hortiz ... I'll take our odds in that battle of wits.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

Even if we have an extra 2nd rounder. That should be for OC(JPJ) and or DL(Jenkins perhaps)...whatever and start looking at WRs and RBs in round 3-4. Hopefully with extra picks.
But if they draft Legette or McConkey there, ok..“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

on just yet.
I think we need to wait until FA plays out. That can change a lot of things. We have certain players that would be good trade bait for
draft picks. In such a case take the blue chipper @5.

1 of the 5 is voted to the pro bowl
1 OC is drafted in the first round
he is voted to the pro bowl too
News at 11: "Only 20% of QBs drafted in the first round make the pro bowl, yet 100% of OCs make the pro bowl."
I think there is a dilution effect in the WR, QB, OT numbers. Nor value adjustment. The 2nd best QB could be worth a hell of a lot more than the best Center, for example.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

Verse is 23yo
Turner is 20yo
I have a new puppy at home, right now he's just an asshole puppy but he'll be a bad ass dog by summer. Turner is gonna be a bad ass dog - thats the theory.
