Two guards, zero tackles and zero centers = must be drafting for a different team than LAC. Maybe he plans to convert one to OC, idunno - but there are probably 2 starting OCs on the board at 31 with actual proven OC experience, if not 3.

Here’s your trade-down trench, defense AND MORE draft:

The latest PFN mock has 1 defender in the first 15 picks. Has the search for offense gotten that far out of whack?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I think there will be 5 defensive players in top 15.

        3 QBs
        3 WRs
        1 TE
        3 OL
        3 Edge
        1 DL
        1 CB

If there is a 4th QB then maybe 1 OL or 1 Edge drops out.
Or maybe the TE falls out.
Who has it better than us?

He doesn’t yet understand Barton’s best position will likely be center in the NFL. Alt long gone by 15 should be obvious.
          Think Mitch Morse.

Making your first pick of the draft a position switch project is quite the bold risky move. I’m gonna try to take a guy who has proven he can play the position I draft him for.

He is one of the safest picks in the draft at 37.
Versatility, intelligence, and character are elite.
Give me the high floor lower ceiling.
You surely know tackle, then guard is more difficult than center for most. Main reason some here talk Zion at center.
Im not expecting him to be available.
If he won the job at guard or tackle all the better.

if we go by the book and take stock in what our new braintrust has proffered.... to run the ball and protect Justin, then how 'bout we go RT, OC, RB, OG ?? would that be too logical ??

                1) RT Olumuyiwa, Taliese
                2) OC Graham Barton
                3) RB Blake Corum
                4) OG Trente Jones

if we get some extra picks somewhere along the line, then we can build the D as well....

                2) NT T'Vondre Sweat
                3) FS Cole Bishop
                4) LB Cedric Gray
5/11 Fuaga, 37 Kamari Lassiter, 40 Sinnott, 67 Bralen Trice, 69 Cedric Gray, 105 Jaylen Wright, 110 Braelon Allen, 140 Joe Milton, 181 Khristian Boyd, Tylan Grable, 225 Daijun Edwards, 253 Miyan Williams

Not bad at all Mac, but do u think Alt falls all the way to #15? Really like Frazier @#39 which I think is realistic...

Lane Johnson, Tristan Wirfs, Penei Sewell, Ryan Ramczyk, Braden Smith, Brian O'Niel have all made OT position changes since college. This argument isn't working anymore. Some teams even put their best tackle at RT now. It's a new day. New ideas.

But I like the draft. Alt won't be there at #15. I would be fine with Fuaga or Mims, though.
And you're in luck... they played RT in college.

Im drafting Luke McCafrey and making him our running back. That speed is too much. It’s been done before.

Jordan Williams y’all still haven’t addressed Jordan Williams a left tackle who can play right tackle University of Arizona. Mountain man. Great kid.

if you study Horwitz Ravens way they value right tackle later in drafts and get guys to put there. Zeus Brown people thought he couldn’t play in the league they got him in the second round.

He was a right tackle got traded to Kansas City because they couldn’t pay him and Stanley but they developed him up. He wanted left tackle money went to Kansas City then got his money and went to Cincinnati where he plays left tackle.

So Horwitz looks at it like he can get a great tackle in the other rounds. I’m just saying.

Fuck it can you imagine the interview with Bowers and Harbaugh. That would be colorful. Or Harbaugh Nabers. After that we’ll get a good feel.
