Not to mention Herbie performing like Rodgers in GB with his lack of receivers.
Why ignore the secondary and use 3 picks on WR's and more TE's? Our secondary is atrocious and needs some serious talent. Just curious.

Read it all, corners mostly via free agency.
Should have a good pash rush this year ((because we expect Bosa to be healthy and dominate with Mack and Tuli.)) Have to have a weak position link somewhere when you’re focused on building the greatest O Line ever after inheriting Telesco’s mess, especially year 1.
          Defense heavy next year.

Aside from a RB that high I think value everywhere.
I could accept it if our favorite scenarios aren’t possible.

I don’t think the way things have gone over the last 2 days that Hortiz and Harbaugh don’t know how the 1st 4 picks are going to go. These guys all talk to each other and there’s simply no reason to play games. Everyone knows what everyone else wants and how the board at the top will fall. They know Keenan was gone next year anyways and if they can just draft his replacement AND! get an extra 4th to rebuild this mess, then why the hell wait?
How often do “elite” “slam dunk” players fall to you in a draft? And you just so happen to have a need for one?
You can also make the argument that MH2 is BPA at 5 too…

11 Fuaga RT/ Pipkins still plays a lot and T insurance
23 Fautanu G/T, gives the possibility of JPJ also
                      50s Jenkins/Sweat/Fiske DT
                      69 Colson LB
                      80s Van Pran/Limmer C
                      115s WR
                      140 Lloyd/Ray Davis RB
                      150s WR
                      181 Tip Reiman TE
                      7th RB mining for gold
7th RB mining for a hidden diamond like Ekeler or Pacheco

                      Trading down with 1st, 2nd & 4th -110 to Min
Best Chargers O Line ever by year 2 or 3
Lots of Jumbo & 2/3 TE sets
Corner & LB filled in FA

Figuring Nutty, Woody, & Beach will be on board.
                      Everyone else, React to me!
Well, here's what I think we won't do

Start three rookies on the OL.

                      Two perhaps, three...id say nah.

OC, OG ....maybe,sure. OT OG vet OC. .ideal...draft lower round OC for depth. Salyer is now depth?

Slater had Fieler next to him and we had Linsley. Slater last year mentioned McFadden had a mature, vet like pressense about him so he praised him when he had to play for Zion? Should we read anything in to that?

                      But that matters.

Three rookies? I think some here expect too much.

And if we draft Bowers,... we got a rookie TE next to a rookie RT who is next to a rookie RG who is next to a rookie OC.....that is a lot inexperience.

Do the vet TEs help here with that some? Idk

No, the Chargers shouldn’t trade down if MHJ falls to them at 5. It also wouldn’t be worth it since the Vikings are the best trade partners and you lose the QB tax.

Trade down probably happens in the second round then.
