Depth??? WTF??? I thought you wanted a starter infront of Lissimore?

I did, but the only guy that had a chance to start over Lissemore right away way was Nix, which is why he was a priority for me all along. After he was gone, we needed depth to because Geathers is so unproven. Of course, any drafted NT is unproven too, but at least we have two realistic chances for a player to develop for us now instead of one. Also, Carrethers fits our run defense needs at NT very nicely.

Carrether's game tape is more impressive than his combine tape as far as speed and agility. He plays quicker with contact.

We were all concerned about NT depth. Just not nearly as much as your obsession.
