An idea that should be considered.

    We play Atlanta Sunday.
They drafted uber athletic Kyle Pitts @ #4 Overall lol.

The Falcons also drafted Bijan Robinson @ #8 Overall ftw.
Nobody is saying draft a RB or a TE in the top 10.

Look at Bowers at Vegas. He’s been their best player this year. 74 rec 744 yds That’s ridiculous for a rookie TE.
He would have been an awesome pick at 5! Nobody would be complaining.
The whack Jet fans are lamenting they should of just drafted Bowers now.

See amended post, Jack Burton, was typing as you posted.

It's all cool--a deeper dive is mandatory.

I have only begun to scrutinize the IOL.

A common thought is that we need a receiving TE--I would argue WR.

Another very common thought is that we must upgrade IOL.

      You know Harbs & Roman...

      We play modern Harball.

        Kaleb Johnson highlights:

Kaleb Johnson highlights: Wisconsin vs. Iowa, College Football Week 10 | Big Ten on NBC

Kaleb Johnson Highlights vs. Minnesota | Iowa Football | 09/21/2024

Kaleb Johnson Highlights vs. Troy | Iowa Football | 09/14/2024

Kaleb Johnson Highlights vs. Washington | Iowa Football | 10/12/2024 - YouTube

While watching these highlights you also can see the center Logan Jones #65. I really like him as a run blocker. Not sure how he is in pass pro because Iowa doesn't pass much. In my mock I have Jones in the 6th rnd.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

We need all of those. Order and priority … idunno. Warren would be great if he is there. Not sure which WR we’d take at mid-20’s. IOL - don’t see that R1 worthy pick yet but I’ll await your scouting reports.

Warren is a Harbs and Roman player, i do know that.

I personally think Elic Ayomanor STAN is gone before the 1st round is over.
Tetairoa McMillan AZ will be gone by pick 8 of this draft. He’s a freak.

As per the cycles of football, in which defenses now feature predominantly light boxes, with umbrella or "Palms" Coverages, running backs are featured.

We seem to want to draft Brock Bowers a year too late, as none of these TEs are at his level.

There are several running backs available late round one that I would consider late round one, at least as much as the tight ends, in this "tight end frenzy."

              JMO.
              None!

Ive mentioned this guy before and have done more digging on him and IF he declares, i got my sights on him. Seen him play 2 games now. More tape to follow. He is a redshirt Sophomore so not sure he will declare.

Purdue TE Max Klare. Having a good season on a very shitty team. Quite the athletic player and scouts have been noticing but he is under the radar from from many other pundits. Likely not a first rounder if he declares. Not sure yet where he goes but 2-3 is where id secure him. Punter, kicker, QB......baseball player. If he doesnt declare, he is high on my list for 2026.

Here is a nice article i found when i was trying to find more info on him.

                Elic looks explosive.
                Same problem as Loveland.

Id have taken him at 5 but sure, it would of been nicer to get him at 8 or 10. He is going to be worth every penny unless he gets a bad injury but so far so good for the Turds.

I don't want to go into next season thinking he's without a doubt our top running back. On top of that, while he's been very good for us this year, he's not on the same level as most of those running backs you mentioned. One guy you don't have on your list is the Colts' Jonathan Taylor, who was drafted in the second round. When you put everything together, Dobbins is not a "franchise" running back.

Next April seems like it will be a very good time to select a running back in the first or second round. While I don't believe Ashton Jeanty will be there when we're up in the first round, I don't want to leave the running back position unaddressed beyond the second round with the thought being, "Oh, we can just find one later." I DEFINITELY don't want to go beyond the third round. Since we lucked out with Austin Ekeler as an undrafted free agent in 2017, we got Joshua Kelley in the fourth round, Isaiah Spiller in the fourth round, Larry Rountree III in the sixth round, Justin Jackson in the seventh round, and Kimani Vidal in the sixth round. While Vidal is still a rookie who hasn't had many opportunities, the rest did not emerge as even reliable #2 running backs, so the whole belief that "oh, we can just find one later," is not appealing to me when the top ball-carriers in the 2025 NFL Draft appear to be capable of becoming very good at the NFL level.
This is a tough one...so many big PON's we have: C, TE, RB, G...IMHO, C is a top priority in either round 2 or 3, and I'm favoring Majors in round 2...Warren makes sense in round 1...any RB's we could draft or even move up for at the top of round 3 or even the end of round 2?

Bowers went 13 and Raiders got a generational weapon there. He is breaking records as a rookie with total shit QBs and incompetent OC. Can you imagine if the Raiders get a good QB? I like Alt and am fine with last draft but good right tackles come in every draft, Bowers once ina blue moon. But yes no one is suggesting a top 15 pick on a TE this draft.

Right now we pick 24 and Warren is suitable value there. I like what Warren would bring more than the WRs that would be available there like Egbuka. I think we lack a bigger X type and Tmac is long gone

Good points, but if we drafted Bowers, we might still have Pip at RT...oops...

Agreed . I just said I like Warren better than Egbuka or Burden, the WRs that might be in that range. I dont think we need a small receiver, i think we need an X who can get downfield and be one WR on the Chargers who can make contested catches.

I dont see any IOL in this draft worth a first round pick. BPA doesnt have to be TE, it could be DT, Edge, CB etc but not OG , no need to reach. I hope they look at IOL in FA.
