Maybe that's true. Too bad this is the time of year when you can't believe 80% of what you hear.

Bucky Brooks is one of the few pundits that predicted the Chargers would pick Joe Alt with the #5 pick last draft.

In Bucky's latest mock, he has the Donks taking Jeanty, Steelers grab Hampton and Loveland drops right into our lap...love that landing...

That's pretty much been my 1st round cluster for the last 2 months.

Between Loveland and Hampton if both are there, think id lean Loveland just a bit but I go back and forth. Thinking that's what Harbaugh and Hortiz may but IDK.

Went back and watched some more of Hampton and Johnson on some vs tapes. Hampton vs Duke and Georgia tech. Johnson vs Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa st.

I think Hampton and Johnson are very close. Hampton looks a little faster and is decent in pass pro. Haven't seen Johnson do that on tape yet. Gonna keep looking.

Even went back to Judkins ole Miss tape and vs Penn st and last season while at Ohio st vs Penn st, and vs LSU when he was at Ole Miss. Didnt rewatch the Oregon tape. Not quite on Hamptons and Johnson level but I'd be happy with him.
Henderson good pass pro, fast, won't break alot of tackles but makes you miss.

I like Henderson and would be ok with Judkins too. Any of those four along with Dobbins would be nice for the earlier pick RBs.

No body really talks about Jeanty's fumble issues. It's like they overlook that part of his game. Me personally, I like Hampton more but that's just me.

So a butterfly flaps his wings in China and Zack Martin retires in Dallas. Now the boys take an OG instead of Jeanty, Jeanty falls to The Donks at 20 and Loveland falls to the Bolts at 22.

Funny how things work out sometimes.

I think we should look at Najee Harris! Every season he's hit a thousand yards, never been injured, only 26 and he seems like the perfect Harbaugh sort RB! Him and DK could be a really good combo!

Then maybe later in the draft we could draft a RB like Jordan James, Skatteboo, Raheim Sanders, Montrell Johnson Jr. backfield solidified!
