I think TT was going for best impact player. Williams was big against top cbs in the big games. With Allen a perenial ? every year now I think it was definitely a need to shore up the WR with a true #1. Yah Id love me some help on defense and OL but I think we will see a safety or OL in the next pick...Budda Baker or Lamp?
Rivers has a nice stable of receivers to scare the shit out of defenses...he needs protection and getting the run game to consistentency. Im still a huge Gordon fan and think we now have outstanding skill positions on our O. Shore up the trenches TT. Make it so.

Edit - Hes a RFA. Thats good. We may be able to get a pick for him. 2nd round tender? Id rather he stay and we cut Benjamin. But this most likely will be Inmans last year.Last edited by Boltjolt; 04-28-2017, 06:53 AM.

I have to disagree with you here Paul, I don't think the personnel decisions have been the issue with the win-loss record. In fact, I think they have landed a number of quality young players to build around both in the draft and in the UFA market. Guys like Allen, Verrett, Gordon, Bosa, Oliver, Henry, Williams, Brown, Pulley, Inman, Philon, Emanuel, etc. Sure they have missed on a few but every team does. It's the inability to stay healthy and the ho-hum coaching style that has cursed this team the past few years. I would argue that they have at least wild card talent on this team if they could just freaking stay healthy.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.
