Like if Green Bay is still going to run a 3-4 with their new HC, he would be great for them. Their NTs aren't that great.

Ranking the top 5 defensive tackles in the 2019 NFL Draft

We know the Philadelphia EaglesHeight/weight listings are from (probably unreliable) school listings unless otherwise noted.- Players listed have at least 3 games of film study done.
- Final Grade results from a formula that takes into account universal factors (play strength, mental processing, etc.) and position-specific traits (use of hands, first step explosiveness, pass rush ability, etc.)
- Grading not final. More film may be required & athleticism score includes elements of athletic testing.
Grade: 85.7 (Early 1st Round)
2. ED OLIVERHouston
Oliver received a ton of hypeweird situation with his coaching staffSummary: Immediate starter at 3-tech and instant upgrade to pass rush.
Grade: 81.0 (Early/Mid 1st Round)
3. JEFFERY SIMMONSMississippi State
Love the player, hate the backstorySummary: Immediate, 3-down starter. Background flag.
Grade: 80.3 (Early/Mid 1st Round)
4. CHRISTIAN WILKINSClemsonlinked to the Eagles a ton as we work through the pre-draft process.
Summary: Immediate starter from multiple inside alignments. 3-down player.
Grade: 74.6 (Early 2nd Round)
5. Ohio StateSummary: Situational pass rusher with future 3-down starter potential.
Grade: 69.6 (Late 2nd Round)
- TexasCharles OmenihuOklahoma and Oklahoma State, which made the entire defense gas out quick. Is it a cause for concern? Probably not, as OmenihuMichiganRashan GaryGary. His lack of consistency, sputtering motor, and lack of a plan as a pass rusher are to prevalent on film for me to feel comfortable selecting him in the first round.
- The Combine will be important for Notre DameJerry TilleryDexter Lawrence keeps getting mocked in the first round, and to the Eagles as wellArizona StateRenell WrenTexas A&MDaylon Mack impressed during Shrine Week, which earned him a meeting with the Eagles. He was then bumped up to the Senior BowlIsaiah Buggs and MiamiGerald Willis but early returns indicate they would not threaten the top 5 of the group.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
The Wasted Decade is done.

I have become a little cautious about this prospect.

If you're just looking for a guy to clog up the middle on early downs, Mack provides good value in the later rounds. And a a 0/1 tech, I think that's about all you're going to get out of the position. +300 pound guys just don't rush the passer well.
TDN
NAME: Daylon Mack
SCHOOL: Texas A&M
CONFERENCE: SEC
POSITION: Interior Defensive Lineman
CLASS: Senior
JERSEY: No. 5
RECRUITMENT RATING: 5-star
HT: WT: 320 lbs
D.O.B.: 2/23/1997
Has had some balance issues when trying to turn tight corners before. Built-low to the ground so his lack of flexibility is easier to overcome, but does not appear to stand out in this way on tape.
Played hard and physical this season. Motor was impressive. Appeared to have lost some weight after playing too heavy as a junior. Does get rotated out fairly often, but likely to be the same case in the NFL anyway.

Sutton Smith keeps surprising people, the amount he lifts is amazing, 500 lb squats, he can do per the article 33 reps of 225 lbs which no one at that position has done, but let's say he can't play DE or even LB he was a RB recruited by Saban, I think he would make a great Safety.
