At yesterday's presser, AL was asked if the Chargers want Rivers to come back.

He answered something along the lines of
"who wouldn't want someone with this level of production ?"

With other comments, it is expected that it will take almost a month to finalize the decisions about our future pathways.

By the end of Senior Bowl Week, we should have clarity.

At this point, it really sounds like LAC will just say that they want to free up some cap space or something,
and Philip will end up signing in Tampa or somewhere else.

The Chargers.

I don't expect them to say anything....and then everything will have passed, like with Gates.

And if Rivers returns to L.A. with his new team, they'll hold some type of ceremony that will be screwed up.

I'm going by my vague recollection of what Lynn wanted: primarily the anti-Rivers. He said something akin to Rivers being a dinosaur, and guys who just stand in the pocket are antiquated.

He never said anything more, as far as i'm aware. Lynn reportedly liked Deshuan Watson, whose about equivalent to Tua in athleticism and speed (4.7 guys). Tua can do the same type of things.

That article is from 2017 lol...and yet Rivers still starts while Tom Brady keeps winnig Superbowls, Matt Ryan and went to a SB and Goff went to a SB last year

We all would like to see Rivers move better but he is wrong in a sense. The pocket passer guys are still going to playoffs and winning SBs. Brees can move some but he isstill a pocket passer.

Lamar Jackson's are rare. A QB who can do it all but his injuries will come. He had 176 carries.

Wilson is a good type to have but he needs to learn to throw the ball away better. Taking sacks is costly

Peyton and Brady arent mobile at all either. Eli can also go in that group. Peyton also never did QB sneaks
