I never read Bo had some bone desease. He just lost blood flow to the area and it died.
I'm not saying it will happen to Tua, the injury just looked similar

Alabama team doctors predict a full recovery for Tua. Regenerative medicine has evolved tremendously since Bo's injury. We are no where near a situation where Tua is unable to heal.
We do not play modern football.

My question is why was he even playing in that game? He was supposed to sit out and rest, then somehow ended up playing anyway and was still in the game with a 35-0 lead.

This is exactly what he should do.
risky. But his best shot now is to be the Trevor Lawrence consolation prize.
but even with a “full recovery” he runs the risk of being drafted out of the first round so there’s no big guaranteed money. Might as well prove something next season.
            G-Ro knows.

              Saban's comments were not reassuring.
Coach wanted Tua to work on 2 Minute Drill. SMH.

                Bummer.
BTW enjoyed England vs All Blacks @ Rugby World Cup.

Please Chargers, do NOT draft Tua. The last thing we need is an injury prone QB.

I hope they do their due diligence. Plenty of the players we have drafted have had no injury history before going down that road with the Chargers. I definitely wouldn't put it past the team to redshirt him for his rookie season if they believe he'll be fully healthy his 2nd season.

Amen. Would be such a mistake. We need another ironman

SMH indeed ... team up by 35 or whatever and he’s still playing his Star QB that hasn’t even fully healed from his last ankle injury. SMH back and forth muttering no, no ... no ...
