The year before that draft, our WR corps had been decimated by injuries, so I suppose TT wanted to make sure he bolstered our depth...and it turns out that we could have had Smith-Shuster in round 2, or Chris Godwin or Kenny Golladay in round 3--all pro-bowlers...instead we got Lamp and Feeney...now I gave u even MORE to be bitter about...

Everyone was happy about Lamp and Feeney at the time.

It's called "grin and bear it" ... I've watched the Bolts suffer such terrible luck for years, with injuries, draft busts and poor play...so might as well grin, shake our heads, and hope things swing back in their favor in the future...

Some act like we are the only ones though. EVERY GM has busts. Elway is the worst QB drafter going....which is odd since he was one lol.

Yep...I thought they were both solid picks at the time...unfortunately, Lamp got hurt and Feeney never really developed...If Happy Campen can't work some magic on those two in this upcoming season--the last on their deal for both of them--it may be time to cut one or both of them loose...

Yep...Horseface has made some real stinker QB picks: Tebow, Osweiler, Lynch, Siemian...Lock is showing some promise, but jury's still out on him after playing just a few game, I suppose...

Not sure id believe that at all but......Looks like we going Simmons or Juedy. Doubt Okudah is on the board. However....im calling BS on a "source"

I just don't get the love for receivers this early in the draft.
How many top WR has Tom Brady had in 20 years in New England? 1? Their best receivers have been their TE's and slots. Guys like Troy Brown ( Rd 8), Wes Welker( UDFA)Julian Edelman( Rd 7) Danny Amendola( UDFA), Chris Hogan( UDFA) were all system fits. Guys you obviously find late or afterwards. And their offense always seemed good enough.
Look at Arizona, now with All World WR's Fitgerald and Hopkins. If Murray doesn't get time to throw, their talent is useless.
We need to find 5 guys who can keep Taylor ( or whoever) upright and in the pocket. Instead of wasting draft capital, use it to grab a T and a C, which will be there for us in rounds 1-3.

He also had Moss, Deione Branch, Brandon Cooks, Brandon LeFell, Terry Glenn And Reche Caldwell....lol, ok kidding there.

Troy Brown was a really good player. Just like us scoring with Ekeler and Gates.
