Same thing with other contending coaches.
Yep only he and Brady are available for second interviews right now.

After watching this interview I'm totally good with this guy. He's paid his dues and deserves a chance and most likely not worried about how much he's paid vs. succeeding at winning football games.

Like you said about Daboll - the Bills offense evolved with the players year over year. I personally think at this point he is a no-brainer but we are dealing with the Spanii so it never easy
I'd be fine with Saleh: he dealt with a ton of injuries and turnover last year. Defense was the 49ers strength.

I don't know what type of head coach he would be...i have absolutely no idea. shanarat jr gave him a ringing endorsement.

Going with an OC/DC as a first timer is like trying to catch lightning in a bottle: most will fail if not given support.

It's not like we're promoting a Running backs coach to head coach. He's got an actual track record...lol!

I hope Saleh doesn't use his "epiphany" - his brother's near death experience on the Spanos....they go for that stuff.

That's only 1 out of ten factors. The other one is that they can pay him half what Meyer would cost and we might get 95% of Meyer's capability.

If Saleh thought he was rich making 5 bucks an hour then Dean can pay him 4 mil which is cheap these days for a HC and Saleh will think he hit the jackpot.

No wonder he is getting a second interview lol. Half kidding of course.

If Saleh was smart he'd take a $4 mil base pay plus incentives. Maybe every year he gets them to playoffs he get $6 mil and if he gets them to superbowl $8 mil and such. Keep everyone hungry even our linemen.

Up here in the Bay on local radio they speak very highly of this man and they say not only is he a great emotional leader but also a CEO type and will be able to handle the HC position.

Our defense immediately improves without any personnel changes that are sure to happen. What he did at the end of the season with third stringers and guys off the street was remarkable.

Really my only concern with a defensive minded coach is the possibility of Herbert sort of going sideways. Maybe even regressing. I think its absolutely imperative we build around him and maximize him over the next 10 years. He is the next Mahomes or Josh Allen. No reason why we shouldn't put up 35 points a game.

Our record this year is totally different however if the D doesn't crater every 2nd half. I thoroughly believe Saleh would be able to adjust for offenses coming out for the 2nd half. He is really good at in game adjustments.

Also Josh Allens coach is a D guy. So its not like Herbert is for sure going to crater under a D minded coach.

I also really like how fit Saleh is. He takes care of himself. I think he will be able to help in that regard. Our fitness sucked. Just tanked every game because we were always so gassed on that side of the ball.

Need a rock solid training staff. I wish the team would talk to me about that. lol I know guys that would put together an insane program for these players. In all facets. Nutrition and fitness.
