Anybody remember Alan Wiggins stealing home? My favorite play ever.
Yes I remember that play but Upton in his wildest dreams would never steal home as a Padre, at this point I'd be happy if he could just steal second successfully. But to remain positive I will say at least he has one HR this season.

Upton also had one of our better averages last year - not that that's saying much. But it does say he's not likely our worst player.

When he gets on base, the game suddenly gets way more exciting for me. I never know if he's going to get picked off, steal a base, or get tangled up in his glasses.

With the San Diego Chargers, I only accept winning. But, with the Pads, I'll settle for entertainment. Other than maybe Kemp, we don't have a more exciting player than Upton, Jr.

I have nothing to say about today's game because I'm staying positive.

        We're on a one-series winning streak.

Alexi Ramirez got a hit today.

          Bethancourt's arm looks legit.

          Upton didn't screw up.

So even though they lost there were some positives. Very nice. I also liked the fact we were in today's game until the very late going. It was a close one. That always makes a difference in losses for me.

We have to at least split the 4-game series in Philly now. Three wins would be great. Cashner can redeem himself tomorrow. Need the first one for certain.

After Cashner we have Erlin, Rea, and then Pomeranz in the Philly series.

Padres might score again. When do we go back to Colorado?

4 shutouts already. Didn't we set the record for most shutouts in a season last year?

So I'm at tonight's game and twice there was a dropped ball strike three. Both time Wil Myers caught the ball without his foot on the base. Once he caught it he stepped on the base. Is this normal? What if there was a speedster racing down the line?
