I remember watching it at some neighborhood friends house in San Gabriel Ca.Originally posted by nomad1946 View PostI saw this game in real time, it was really up and down.
I just watched the replay. I liked how the announcers were starting to wrap it up at the end of regulation.

Biggest play of the game; Kelcher popped it loose.Originally posted by jubei View Postjust rewatched it again...thank goodness for that fumble by the dolphin going in to setup a chipshot. and this had to be the gutsiest performance by any TE ever. too bad his son turned into such a douchebag.
He was a monster in that game

Winslow Sr ws a douchebag himself, so I'm not surprised his son turned into one. I met him once (Winslow Sr) at the Hotel Del Coronado. He was an arrogant, entitled ass. Pissed off the whole staff.Originally posted by jubei View Postjust rewatched it again...thank goodness for that fumble by the dolphin going in to setup a chipshot. and this had to be the gutsiest performance by any TE ever. too bad his son turned into such a douchebag.sigpic

I was overseas watching this game, and I remember admiring/being in awe of the players and how they were struggling just to play through all of that fatigue and exhaustion. I knew there was something special about those guys wearing the lightning bolts and I knew that they were going to win..."You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer." --Frank Zappa

I was watching the replay with my wife, who is 10 years younger & had no previous knowledge of this game. I pointed out Kelcher & told her at the time he was 1 of about 3 in the entire league that weighed 300+. Now every team has about 10. Crazy.Originally posted by powderblueboy View Post
