Other than North Dallas 40 and Tom Landry's hat and cheerleaders and the 99-yard Tony Dorsett run and the time Drew Pearson introduced himself to me while handing over a Chargers AFC Championship cap, there is nothing good about the Cowboys. They are my least favorite NFC team.

IMO, impressive wins can leapfrog teams over others.....but actually downgrading a team after a WIN is ridiculous.
Again, it is just hypothetical media BS that has no bearing on outcomes and standings. Fun exercise and good for fans to debate, but otherwise worthless.
And I disagree that downgrading a team for an ugly win is "ridiculous". I think the opposite, in fact. You have to consider your opponent, the margin of victory, how the team played, etc, etc. We BARELY beat a bottom 5 team; a team that we should have shredded. Only those who see the world through brand shiny new homer glasses would think otherwise, IMO. You obviously qualify on that last point.

Aren't divisional games kinda weird for every team? Seems every year, the most improbable wins happen when some schmucky subpar basement team rises up and stomps all over a way better divisional rival. Happened to us last year in Oakland, didn't this year. If the media is too blind to notice, fuck 'em.

Why do so many SD fans love to play the victim role? Who cares if the national media does not give us enough credit? The Chargers nor Padres have ever won a SB or WS, nor do either have a winning tradition. Why should the national media jump all over our bandwagon everytime we start off a season well? I just don't understand our obsession with wanting to feel victimized. We even love to blame an East Coast bias yet complain because Dallas and Denver get so much attention, last I checked neither were east coast teams.
The Chargers are playing really well right now and have the potential to win the SB. But right now they have a long way to go and have to prove they are for real before they earn national respect. Stop worrying about what everyone else thinks or feels and just enjoy watching our team play good football and win games. We as a fan base need to learn to enjoy the ride and stop worrying about such insignificant things such as media attention.1) Jason Verrett (CB) TCU
2) Demarcus Lawrence (OLB) Boise St
3) Will Sutton (DT) Arizona St
4) Jarvis Landry (WR) LSU
5) John Urschel (OC) Penn St
6) Shamar Stephen (DT) UConn
7) Brock Coyle (ILB) Montana
