Well he did in college. Even if he started out lined up in the backfield. He motioned out to the slot. Hes a true Joker TE.

We have quite of depth at the position. Now if we should see issues with the usual suspects, Floyd, Royal, VB then things might get desperate enough to start using Green as a WR. I think they will try to do things to isolate him with a safety or LBer though.

Phillips was a terrible signing. Can't block.

Poor Donario is an extremely talented and hard working young man but he has been plagued by serious knee injuries. And it happened again.

I am disappointed, but not surprised. Are any of you totally surprised this happened? It is why the Chargers did not commit to him long term and I am sure it has been in the back of Telesco and McCoy's minds continually. I feel very bad for the kid, and the Chargers would have been better with a healthy Alexander all season. But they will be ok without him. I firmly believe this. And I am sad to say this might be the end of his career because no team will take a chance on him. Too bad.

I am surprised. It happened to his good knee.

unfortunately, his knees aren't up to the rigors of football.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

He'll be listed in your program as "OW". I wonder if he can throw?

It's nice to see that you now understand that.

Interesting becuase on 1090 in his interview yesterday he was saying in Dallas the used him most as a blocking TE... Has said it the context of being excited about and expanded roll with us. EI blocking and pass catching.

Well, this really sucks! Allen may yet be our #3 WR by default over Royal and Meachem. Any thoughts on signing Ajirotutu?

to 8-8 .Maybe Vincent Brown can make an impact and change the scene of things, and I'm yet to see anything from Meachem
and Royal. The WR corps hasn't been the same without Vincent Jackson, and before DA's ACL injury the chances were greater.
I don't think we're that bad off, we've got two real up and comers in Brown and Allen, and Royal can easily catch a few dozen passes if he doesn't pull his groin or hamstring. All of these guys have serious talent. Floyd is another guy who has proven he can catch the ball. On another note, it may give Green more opportunities, and he showed well last year whenever he had the ball thrown to him.

I think we're okay on the WR front, and I doubt that they'll spend a lot of energy looking for guys off the street.
