OT: My first NFL game

Have fun! I'm 52 and went to my 1st NFL game a few years ago when the Bolts played the Ravens here, they lost in the last few minutes pretty much the way I see it on TV, LOL. Hope this game ends better.
One thing of note, at least here in Baltimore... NFL fans are pretty garbage. I've been to perhaps 80 college games and have never witnessed such drunken brawling behavior. Wore my Shawne Merriman jersey and had to avoid multiple fights after the game, had drunks coming after me from across the street leaving the game. Did I mention they won?
I'll be going to my 2nd NFL game in a few weeks for another Chargers-Ravens game, 50 yard line box seats courtesy of my brother who is not a Ravens fan, but is a partner for a law firm that has the season tickets. I might ask for game day thread rights on that one if i feel lucky that morning.

My long time Chargers fan father and I agreed upon one thing before the game: although we always want the Bolts to win, we wouldn't necessarily mind the outcome today as long as it was an intense, close game.
Well, the 2nd half better be different because the top 2 Bolt plays were Scifres' second punt and the Miami missed fieldgoal.
Jeez this is bad...

At least a good majority of the fans were nice enough. Had one teenage yell 'boo chargers boo go home you suck!' at us on the way out; his dad proceeded to give me the 'sorry my kid is an asshole' look and grabbed him by the arm: I just smiled back and tapped my nose at the young man. One day he will heckle the wrong fan and get his lol.Last edited by Vermstyr; 11-02-2014, 02:45 PM.

Tomorrow I will be attending the Miami-San Diego game in person!
I am absolutely stoked! The closest thing to a professional sports game I have ever attended was a Red Sox game (I am from Mass) that got rained out when I was about 7. My sister surprised my father (long time Chargers fan) and myself with tickets last night when we can down to Florida to visit her!
While I always wanted to go to San Diego to watch the Chargers play I guess I'll take what I can get! I'll be repping the Bolts in my custom 'Vermette' '33' away jersey while my dad is wearing his Tomlinson new school away jersey.
In all, there really is no point in this thread, I am just too excited to not share with fans of the same team I am a fan of!
GO BOLTS CRUSH THEM CANDY ASS FINS!
