Great article on James and the secondary. The one thing that bothers me this off season is so many commentators make an issue with Harris coming over and then King. Like they cannot be on the field at the same time? Having a lot of great cover guys is a problem?

In all my years of playing football and watching/following it I have never heard a coach say, "You know what my big problem is? I just have too many good cover corners" Or "I just have too many quality pass rush guys" If you can play the coach will get you n the field and use you.

Yep. Especially with the loss of Phillips, we needed another quality defensive back, especially on those dime and other sub packages...

I know huh? Too much talent, well we can’t have that is an ignorant idea some pundits are writing in the offseason. Injuries, COVID, and opponent scheming (NFL teams never run 4 WR sets, right?) doesn’t seem to come to their minds. Ridiculous

The more I see of Herbert the more I like. Picture perfect throwing motion. Even early on. Starting to really like this kid and that #6 pick.

My 5 y.o. granddaughter has a more natural throwing motion than Rivers.
He's form is really hinky - - but he makes it work.

By lightyears. I didn't like Rivers at first with his quirky motion. But it worked for him. Immobile, accurate, and a quick release. He was solid and gave us many good years. Buy far my favorite Charger QB. That being said. It is refreshing to see a prototype youngster with close to perfect form.
