If our defense doesn’t shut down this rookie in his first ever NFL appearance then Gus Shouldn’t be allowed on the plane back to LA. We’ll pack your office for ya Gus.

While expect the Chargers to be no worse than an average team this season, winning at least 8 games, we are heading into a season of so many unknowns, starting with whether the new-look offense is actually going to work. And is the defense finally going to live up its billing. And are the Chargers going to beat the injury bug; are our key players going to be able to stay healthy?

Pundits generally don't expect the Tyrod Taylor led Chargers to do much this season. So, with that set up, is it blasphemous to ask whether the week 1 game between the Bengals and Bolts turns out to be the battle for the No.1 pick in the 2021 draft?

Not blasphemous...just silly. No offense, but do you really think we can do worse than Washington, Jags, Cincy...even if we have a rash of injuries? Monumental bad luck and injuries led us to that record last year...even if we had all that happen again, we would still be unlikely to be picking top 10...worst case scenario, we will be mediocre.
        Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I don't understand why they would risk Mike Williams in this game...maybe I am overconfident, but I just don't see us losing to the Bengals...you push him out there before he is fully healed, you run the risk of aggravating the injury, and then it's good by until week 3 or 4. Just run the ball down their throats...Eke, Henry, KA give us 3 stars for them to cover on the need to pass downs.

if we better our record over last year, will be surprised... Washington, Jax.... yes, quite possibly.... Jeaux and a somewhat talented Cincy roster.... don't look now, and.... (fingers crossed)

as not sure what roster y'all are lookin' at, as is there not talent at all three levels of their D ?? @WR, RB, TE ?? and if you're giving the edge to TT over Burreaux.... don't like your odds.

we've got our hands full here,
5/11 Fuaga, 37 Kamari Lassiter, 40 Sinnott, 67 Bralen Trice, 69 Cedric Gray, 105 Jaylen Wright, 110 Braelon Allen, 140 Joe Milton, 181 Khristian Boyd, Tylan Grable, 225 Daijun Edwards, 253 Miyan Williams

Well, with the 11th rated offense and the 6th rated offense the Chargers lost 11 games last season, and finished 27th best out of 32 teams. Who knows? The Chargers were the worst team in football in 2003 even with 4 wins.

This is why stats can lie...just cause you put up yardage and such if you don't make plays when it counts these are all meaningless...All the games I watched our offensive line failed so bad that it look like we ran into walls for most of the season.

Why was Velo not banished in mid sentence for this treachery?

This response is just begging for an ambiguous defensive performance: Charger defense is stout, but cracks at key points with Burrow leading a 2 minute 80 yard game winning drive.

Bengals win 20 - 17, with two key offensive turnovers & a missed field goal to distract us.

                      Welcome back to L.A. Gus!

The way Watson of the Texans is running around for his life against KC is preview of the kind of day Tyrod Taylor will probably have.
