The lost money sucks, but I don't fault Pouncey. He is a competitor...he tried...maybe lied to himself, but I don't think to the team.

In any event, this is a good thing. We knew he wouldn't be here long...this is probably the year to find out what we have in Feeney/Qberry, and a chance for Lamp to resurrect his career. Might get lucky and find a solid interior by the end of the season...god knows the bolts are due for a good bounce...

I just looked at CLE's depth chart.
Jedrick (Draft). Conklin (FA). Chubb/Hunt one-two punch @ RB.
In short order, they have transformed.
Serious running attack.

I just never liked the idea of Pouncey coming back this year. He had a bad hip to begin with. Seemed to take a lot of the offseason. I personally would have liked to see the team give him a $2m parting gift on IR the whole year. But around the team

Just need Lamp to stay healthy and i believe we will see him play well and get better as the season goes on. He has the talent, just not the durability.

I would have brought him back, but on a massively incentive laden contract.
