Kicker has not been reliable for over a decade. So that issue is not a coaching problem. Its front office.
And by the way, Lambo the veteran made 100% of his kicks in the pre season he was cut. Again front office. Koo the rookie was cheaper. He started 3-6 and cost some games. He was cut. Front office.

I’d be shocked if anyone but Lynn made that decision. Certainly not Spanos. TT may have been consulted but the HC has to be able to say a player is not cutting it get me another.

HC and his coaches decide who makes the team and who plays.
Lynn i would assume gets together with Telesco if somebody is on the bubble from there and is decided to be cut from bad performance

Of those game Lynn is

So until this year if a Lynn team was ahead to end the 3 quarter they were 22-3 in those games.

I think this year is not typical of a Lynn coached team.
For the previous 3 seasons, If his team was ahead after 3 quarters, they rarely lost.

It is the behind by a score and then a back and forth and take a lead and then opponent retakes it or with chances to take the lead and win but instead a goaline fumble by Gordon vs Titans last year that feel like they can't close games. Its this year crazy 4 blown leads that is absolutely frustrating. But it is not the pattern of a Lynn coached team.
The 3 out of 4 year pattern is Lynn team is closing those deals.

Another very good point I did not know, so the losing of 4th quarter leads has certainly not been the norm of Lynn coached teams over the years.

By asking why this cherry picked stat is relevant?

What's worse: losing a 4rth quarter lead or losing a game where you didn't have the lead entering the 4rth?

Critty would have us believe now that their are good losses and he's feverishly assembling a list:

1. Were they behind entering the 4rth quarter? If so, ignore loss.
2. Did the field goal kicker miss a field goal during any part of the game? If so, subtract loss off the records
3. Was there an injury to a starter suffered during the game? If so, coaches not responsible for anything after that
4. Was Dean Spanos owner of the ball club during any point of a game? If so, hold head coach only accountable for the wins
5. ????

Like McCoy, Lynn's current problem is a two year streak of losing close games, where the most minute coaching decision might influence the outcome.
