I understand that Payton has to impose discipline and I believe he is doing the right thing. But do you think he would have suspended Thomas for this game if the Saints were playing the Chiefs, or the Packers or the Seahawks?

Yes! You don't wait 2 weeks to suspend a guy for punching a teammate in the face - unless you're Norv Turner.
And if the guy punched some free agent rookie in the face, Norv would have fined the rookie for bruising the knuckles of a star player.

I'll be watching tonight win, lose or draw. I simply have zero faith in Gus's D strategy and Lynn overall anymore. A loss would give Telasco a good reason to clean house and a perfect time headed into our bye. I hate it when we play and all I can think of is draft position.

I am focused on the rookies and am trying to remain realistic this season. We’re not going anywhere this year however watching Herbert has been a pleasant surprise. We all want to win and although I get frustrated too it doesn’t hang with me like it used to. Also there’s no question Lynn and Bradley are on the hot seat.

with no defense we need to play offense like the air Coryell teams used to do...... just score points!!

media is trying to say raiders played great defense against the chiefs.....????.... lol...... no.... they gave up 32 points?!...... and should have been more.... the raiders won because they scored 40 points!!!!.... out scoring the chiefs on a bad chief day........

Chargers have to have that same attitude...... score more TD's...... we have been losing because we have not scored enough points..... when your defense can't stop anyone, you have to score more points.....

true but steelers have a habit of discovering great WR's with speed(at all points in draft), but they also find ways to win with whoever they have no matter how many injuries they have,.....
